One way to ensureoptimal system cleanliness is to perform periodicflushing. By circulating hot oil or a flushing fluidthrough the piping of a system at a very high flowrate, turbulent flow can be achieved, whichdislodges particles that would otherwise cling tothe walls during laminar flow. These particles arethen removed from the piping as the fluid iscirculated through a series of high-efficiency filterelements. We are able to quickly andreliably meet or exceed OEM start-up cleanlinessspecifications of ISO 16/13/10, and our jobstypically take 4 to 7-days or less per turbine.Main feed and return lines vary in size from 2 inch to 8 inch, which can all be effectively flushed using ourequipment.
