National Folk Festival PA Specs 2015 FLUTE N' FIDDLE Date Thursday 2 April - Monday 6 April 2015 Site Access Bump In from 9am Tuesday 31 March Bump Out from 11pm Mon 6 April Concert Times Wednesday 1 April 5pm - 12am Thursday 2 April 5pm - 12am Friday 3 April - Monday 6 April 8:30am - 1am Venue Details Contractor to supply a PA system, drapes, lighting, looms, cabling, power distribution, multicores including delivery, set up & packdown Venue is 12m x 18m Hoecker, in village centre of the festival Staging will be provided, 6m x 3m x 0.3m Sufficient power outlets will be provided (1 x 3 phase) Stage Management Crews & Emcees will be provided This venue is an outdoor venue and cannot be sealed or locked Seating capacity 500 (including outdoor seating area) General Info NO VEHICLES are permitted to move onsite between 8am - 4am each day of the festival. There will be NO exeptions to this rule. Bump in must be completed by Wednesday 1 April 4pm, and vehicles removed from site, or parked in a pre-approved space within the festival site Bump out cannot commence prior to 11pm Mon 6 April You must provide the Production Manager of your arrival time & how many vehicles will be entering the site by March 1st You must also provide a list of staff names, number of wristbands required and staff roster the Production Manager by March 1st Additional WHS compliance documentation and insurances must be submitted to the Operations Manager by March 1st, refer to WHS information below All contractors and their staff must complete the online induction prior to commencement of works. All quotes to include GST

Other Requirements / Work Health & Safety (WHS)

•  Note that the above labour requirements specify minimum crew allocation at any given time. It is the contractors responsibility to ensure staff do not work excessive hours and are given adequate breaks. A proposed crew schedule must be included with your quotation

•  All contractors must comply with current ACT WHS legislation to provide safe work practices & instructions to their employees. Relevant documentation including (but not limited to): Safe Work Method Statements, Job Safety Analysis/ Risk Management Plan, Engineering Certificates for Structural works, EH&S Management System are required upon request.

•  Relevant insurances including (but not limited to): Public Liability, Workers Compensation and Professional Indemnity (if required) must also be submitted by March 1st to Operations Manager

•  Contractor to provide fire extinguisher in case of equipment electrical fire •  All electical cords must be tagged and tested as per AS/NZS 3760:2010 In-

service safety inspection and testing of electrical equipment
