Emission control devices to meet regulations
RICE NESHAP may require exhaust gas and open crankcase
emissions treatment. We have the experience to guide you
from sizing and design to unit installation and monitoring.
Testing and site evaluation
Fairbanks Morse Engine can help you evaluate specifi c
emission sources, and recommend a standard or custom
design to minimize back pressure, installation costs and
temperature requirements. If the site requires pre- and post-
compliance testing, we can provide accredited testing.
Monitoring and controls
The Fairbanks Morse system includes a comprehensive data
logging monitoring system that allows easy documentation of
requirements for RICE NESHAP reporting, including catalyst
inlet temperature and pressure drop across the catalyst.

Oxidation Catalysts can reduce Carbon monoxide
(CO) by 90% and Hydrocarbons (HC) by 80%. Each
catalyst element from Fairbanks Morse Engine
uses a robust metal foil design to maximize
both performance and longevity. The proper
catalyst coating is selected to optimize treatment
performance for each application. Unique design
