Dear Friends,

We want to invite you on an unforgettable journey in the footsteps of the Apostle Paul. Visit the

sites that were crucial to the ministry of Paul and take in the rich history of the Empires of ancient

Greece and Rome. This journey will provide you with a deeper understanding of Scripture as you

travel through the lands of the Bible. You will walk where Paul walked and see what Paul saw. When

you make this journey in the company of friends and Bayside Pastors you are sure to have a once

in a lifetime experience. Picture yourself in the Biblical cities you’ve always read about like Athens,

Corinth, Rome, and Ephesus. This will be an in-depth experience with teachings and devotionals with

your pastors.

The trip begins in Rome where you may begin your journey early in the city where Paul spent his

final days. You may choose to tour the Vatican Museum, Sistine Chapel, St. Peter’s Basilica, the

Colosseum, the Pantheon, and the Catacombs—just to name a few sites!

We will spend two days in Athens, which was the center of Christian learning during the early days

of the church. We will visit Mars Hill, where Paul preached the “Unknown God” sermon, and go to

the Acropolis, where the incomparable Parthenon sits. From Athens, we will visit Corinth where Paul

taught “Jesus Christ and Him Crucified.”

• Athens Tour – Acropolis/Mars Hill including lunch at Plaka Taverna

• Athens Tour – Corinth including lunch at Piraeus Fisherman Restaurant

One of our favorite stops is Ephesus, where the Apostle Paul spent three years of ministry and where

he wrote the first letter to the Corinthians. Familiar passages will come alive as we tour this ancient

city and relive his teachings.

• Kusadasi Tour – Ephesus and Roman Houses including

lunch at Sultankoy Village

On our return, we will spend a day in

Naples, Italy where Apostles Peter and

Paul are both said to have preached.

We are looking forward to sharing what

is sure to be a memorable trip with you!

FOOTSTEPS OF PAUL

MEDITERRANEAN CRUISE

Please join Carol and me this October 6-18 on a remarkable cruise to trace the footsteps of Paul in the region where he grew the

church. Imagine studying the Book of Acts, with the Holy Spirit quickening your heart, as you tour the biblical sites mentioned in the Scriptures. We will also take in some of the most spectacular vistas on the planet. This trip is a wonderful way to grow your faith while experiencing God’s creation.

The cruise begins in Rome, where Paul spent his final days. You may choose to arrive early to tour the city on your own and visit the Vatican Museum, Sistine Chapel, St. Peter’s Basilica, the Colosseum, the Pantheon and the Catacombs -- just to name a few of the spectacular sites in what’s known as the Eternal City.

The tour will begin with visits to the Greek isles including Santorini, Mykonos, Crete (Souda Bay) and Rhodes, which are some of the most beautiful sights in God’s creation.

We will spend two days in Athens, which was the center of Christian learning during the early days of the church. We will visit Mars Hill, where Paul preached the “Unknown God” sermon, and go to the Acropolis, where the incomparable Parthenon sits. The cruise will then take us to Corinth, where Paul taught “Jesus Christ and Him Crucified.”

One of my favorite stops is Ephesus, where the Apostle Paul spent three years of ministry and where he wrote the first letter to the Corinthians. Familiar scriptures will come alive as we tour the ancient city and relive Paul’s teachings.

During our return to Rome, we will spend a day in Naples, Italy, where Apostles Peter and Paul are both said to have preached.

The tour is wonderfully simple: You board the ship, unpack once, and wake up in the morning with an amazing adventure waiting for you. In the evening, you can sit back on the deck and savor the beauty of God’s handiwork.

We would love to have you join us in this encounter with Paul. Pray and consider this chance to enjoy a magnificent part of the world, grow friendships and see how God may use this journey to develop in you a deeper desire to, like Paul, share the Good News of the Gospel.
