Letter from the Heart of Our Founder

We live in a glitzy, fast-paced city, often caught up in the busyness of life with little time to pause and take stock of our well-being and those around us. Community Partners Foundation aims to empower a society that promotes health in body, mind and spirit. To us, empowerment is not just having the ability to handle the challenges in one’s life, but having the resolve to walk along side, in spirit or with funding, those who are less able to do so. Thus, we have partnered with organizations that not only address physical and mental health issues, but also social service groups such as choirs and youth programs that rejuvenate the soul.

For the past two years, it has been our privilege to fund and mentor organizations that share our visions. We intend to lead with an authentic heart on this journey to raise awareness on the consequence of emotional, mental, spiritual health so that our community as a whole has the dexterity to make good life choices.

Since 2011, she has dedicated her heart to founding and chairing the Community Partner Foundation in loving memory of her late husband, Mr Danny D B Ho. Through the foundation, Ms. Mok compassionately supports initiatives which extend care to, and lift the spirits of those facing life’s difficult challenges. She is joined in her efforts by her three daughters, Sylvia, Lydia and Tania Ho.

Our Impact

I offer my congratulations to the Centre for taking the initiative to organise the Danny D.B. Ho Lecture & Workshop Series in Holistic Therapy, which can spread the impact of the Centre’s work to the Hong Kong community and beyond.

I was deeply impressed with the work that participants did and their support for each other’s experience… The lecture was an important introduction to the work which helped to reach people who might not otherwise be exposed to these alternative behaviour modalities. I wish the best to… all of the participants and the wonderful work that is being done, through the Centre .

We look forward greatly to a very successful Mrs Mok Hing Yiu Gospel Rally in October 2013”

I hope that parents will take the time to watch [this show], to be inspired.

Our Heart

The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want.He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters, He restores my soul. He leads in paths of righteousness for His name’s sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,I will fear no evil, for You are with me, Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.
