Another coup for Rachel Carsons STEP CHILDREN . As everyone isdoubtless aware by now, on June 18 t h , 2008 , the province of Ontario joinedits sister province, Quebec, in selectively prohibiting, with extreme preju-dice, those pest control products used by the P ROFESSIONAL L A WN C A RE I N - DUSTRY and do it yourself homeowners. These prejudicial regulations comeinto effect on April 22 n d , 2009 . Coincidentally, E ARTH D A Y .

Golf clubs have been provided with an exception status. Farmers have been provided with an exception status. Forestry workers have been provided with an exception status. Mosquito applicators have been provided with an ex-ception status. Under certain conditions, even sports field managers have beenprovided with an exception status. Unfortunately, the P ROFESSIONAL L A WN C A RE I NDUSTRY is specifically targeted commercially by the Ontario C OS - METIC P ESTICIDES B AN A CT .

Unlike the Quebec G REEN S PACE I NDUSTRY , which fought the prohibition of pest control products to the bitter end with exhausting legal represen-tation before the courts, in the end, the Ontario industry, for all intents andpurposes, stood by and did nothing.

The Ontario government is wrong. The Quebec government is wrong. Just as Rachel Carson and her stepchildren were wrong aboutDDT. Just as the world governments were wrong to prohibition of pestcontrol products DDT .

This very sad event forces has forced us to react with the words of theactor Charlton Heston in the 1968 film P L A N E T O F T HE A PES . At the endof the film, our society had destroyed itself, and Heston was understandably upset.

We think that the manufacturing and the turf maintenance industries

should simply sue the daylights out of both the governments of Ontario andQuebec. They need to be taught a lesson once and for all. Otherwise, some-day, these MANIACS will completely destroy the entire modern G R E E N S PA C E I NDUSTRY , in both Canada and the United States. All of this becauseof POLITICIZED decisions based on ignorance, with a pretext of protectinghealth and environment.

Within these two provinces, we find fine examples of the out of controlenvironmentally fanatical MANIACS disguised as environmentalists, politi-cians, doctors, and nurses.

Charest. Fucile. Gerretsen. McGuinty. Shapero. No doubt, the Sierra Club and David Suzuki were meddling with the A P E LIKE minds of thesepeople.

(We should try avoid the temptation of making more references to P L A N E T O F T HE A P E S . Oops ! We just did !)

By the way, the G OL F C OURSE I NDUSTRY should not feel too smugabout its exception status in Ontario or Quebec. The ENVIRONMENTALMOVEMENT knows that golf clubs also use the hated COSMETIC pest con-trol products ! Moreover, the ENVIRONMENTAL MOVEMENT , for the most part, despises the G OL F C OURSE I NDUSTRY just as much as the P RO- FESSIONAL L A WN C AR E I NDUSTRY .

J UNK SCIENCE was used by Miss Carson and her STEP CHILDREN to attain her ideological motives and her obsession to explain her fate withdeath by breast cancer. Most of her claims using scientific data, research, andanalyses, were bogus. Especially about DDT.

Her infamous book S ILENT S P R I N G has manipulated public opinionfor decades many of its claims often could not be justified under thescrutiny of SOUND SCIENCE . A situation very familiar when scrutinizingthe ENVIRONMENTAL MOVEMENT of today.

With S ILENT S PRING as the ultimate guide to JUNK SCIENCE , theemerging environmental movement began to use POLITICIZED SCIENCE todiscredit and eliminate one of the most impressive chemicals of the TwentiethCentury DDT. It triumphed since politics outweighed scientific fact. It prevailed when measures were taken that often had little basis in fact or sci-ence. The ENVIRONMENTAL MOVEMENT used S I L E N T S P R I N G to influencepublic policy.

The reason why we must talk about Miss Rachel Carson now is becauseher STEP CHILDREN , those who have followed in her footsteps, are continueto employ the same time honoured strategies of intimidation and scare mongering. Her most famous STEP CHILDREN at this time are Al Gore andDavid Suzuki.

As mentioned by Crichton, and others, the people of the ENVIRON- MENTAL MOVEMENT has encouraged destructive policies that have led to the

death of millions of people.

They have killed more people than Hitler. They have killedmore people than Stalin. They have killed over half as many victimsas Mao.

Some people, such as Paul K. Driessen, have accused the ENVIRON- MENTAL MOVEMENT of E C O MANSLAUGHTER .

Lets look at the statistics.

It is believed that malaria acutely afflicts more than 515 million peo-ple per year. Two thirds of all cases occur in Africa. Additionally, it causesmore than 1 million deaths per year, principally among children under theage of five years and pregnant women. It has been thirty seven years sincethe U.S. removal of DDT. The reader can do the math. (Thirty seven mil-lio n.) Some say that the malaria deaths may be as high as fif ty million.

Incidentally, Nazi persecution and genocide killed an estimated nine toeleven million people (some say fifteen ). (Add to this estimate all of the

war deaths, and you reach thirty five million. But, we digress.)

The regime of Stalin reached twen ty mi lli on .

Chairman Mao killed up to seventy si x mi ll io n by mass murders andpolicies leading to famine.

What are the ultimate differences in the policies of Mao Zedong (Mao Tse tung) and Rachel Carson and her STEP CHILDREN ? Perhaps not much.

We do not mean to say that that the ENVIRONMENTAL MOVEMENT isresponsible for cold blooded murder. But, the policies of the ENVIRONMENTALMOVEMENT were /ar e cold blooded, and have yielded the same results as thegreat mass murderers of history.

Miss Rachel Carson and her STEP CHILDREN may ostensibly taketheir place amongst the bloodiest tyrants of the Twentieth Century.

Are they all roasting tog ethe r in the hottest fires of Hell ?

We know we are going to take some heat on the concept of TheGreatest Mass Killers in Recent History .

Everyone should bear in mind that, for decades now, the ENVI- RONMENTAL MOVEMENT has not have much of a sense of humour about the G R E E N S PACE I NDUSTRY .

While working as a Public Affairs Spokesman, the principal author of thisdocument still remembers some of the verbal ASSAULTS launched against the G R E E N S PACE I NDUSTRY , such as turf herbicides causing >.

(We used to joke that the only people without brains were the ones fabri-cating this kind of story.)

Nonetheless, his vastknowledge of our long journey with environmental issues is undeniab le.
