Team Puu-Bo Walter Neto E 2 volution - Team Big Forum-Holzbau Nordic 13 in Kouvola Forum-Holzbau Nordic in Kouvola 13 takes the challenge to envision Future tech- nologies for energy efficient and competitive new construction and renovation. The theme brings forward the great potential for the whole building industry what is achievable through industrial prefabrication of buildings and building parts. The challenge is presented and discussed in 8 blocks, two parallel sessions. The titles for the blocks are: • integrating building services into industrially manufactured wooden elements • evolution in building technology • from renovation to upgrading buildings • low-rise wood frame buildings, enhancing their production and architecture • restorative design • education in building and construction in Europe • design in building and contruction • Russian building market The theme will be supported by key-note speeches. Subjects are such as: chal- lenges of the bioeconomy, Northern potential in 2050, future in building technology and prospects of EU-regulations. An exhibition of the products and services to the wood building sector is an es- sential part of the Forum. The program for the days is constructed to allow discus- sions and networking in the exhibition area. All together we are expecting abt. 300 persons to attend the confenrence, most of them from Finland, but also delegates from Scandinavia, Russia and Central Europe are invited.
