Notion of NVC
Nonverbal communication (NVC) is regarded as the process of communication by sending and receiving wordless or speechless messages.
NVC is seen as co-expressive component of verbal communication
Features of Wordless NVC
Gesture; Body language or posture;
Facial expression; and Eye contact
Speaker’s Looks and object NVC
Clothing; Hairstyle;Architecture or lay out of the place;

Writing style NVC Likewise, written texts have

NVC during VC: Paralanguage
Speech may also contain nonverbal elements known as paralanguage such as
Voice quality, Speaking style.Rhythm, Intonation, and Stress.
Proxemics: Space in NVCProxemics is the study of space between the
sender and the receiver of a message how it influences the way the message is interpreted.
Space in nonverbal communication may be divided into four main categories: intimate, social, personal, and public space.
The distance between communicators will also depend on sex, status, and social role.
ChronemicsChronemics is the study of the use of time in
nonverbal communication for setting the stage for communication.
