A VISION FOR OUR GIVING5 P’s of the vision for our giving
PRAYERWe start with prayer. We spend time in prayer discerning how and how much we will give.
PLANWe plan our giving. We intentionally budget our income for our living, giving, owing, and saving.
PRIORITYWe make giving a priority in our budgeting process. We seek to give our “first fruits” back to God.
PERSPECTIVEWe put giving in perspective. We realize God owns all that we are and all that we have. We pick a percentage of our giving, keeping in mind the biblical standard is giving 10% back to God.
PROCESSWe follow a process. We seek to increase the percentage of our giving over time.
The Healing of Two Blind Men And as Jesus passed on from there, two blind men followed [him], crying out, “Son of David, have pity on us!” When he entered the house, the blind men approached him and Jesus said to them, “Do you believe that I can do this?” “Yes, Lord,” they said to him. Then he touched their eyes and said, “Let it be done for you according to your faith.” And their eyes were opened.
