Award winning Glama Gal Tween is the one and only tween dedicated spa for girls of all ages. We pride ourselves on being the originals in the kids’ spa industry since opening our pink doors in 2008. There are many Glama Gal imitators out there that strive to be like us, however we are the only ones with the secret recipe to Glam Tween Spa Success. 1) Be CreativeFill out a detailed application form.

2) Be Curious If you have passed our initial screening we will invite you to tour one

of our facilities with our Franchise Team.

3) Be YOUMeet with one of the creators and owners of Glama Gals. Ask as many

questions as you like and show them the Glam Spark you have and

tickle their pink hearts with your spunk and personality. If you have won them over and they have one you over your on your way!

4) Be ConfidentSpend the day at one of our Glama Gal Head Office and learn more

about the brand and if this is something you can do on a daily basis.

If the Glam Fairy injects you with Glam then you are read for Step 5!

5) Be PositiveYou love us, we love you; let’s get ready to paint the town PINK! At this

step we provide you with a franchise disclosure document. Take the time

to meet with lawyers, accountants, experts and do your due diligence, including validation calls with some of our current franchisees.

6) Be A Glama GalOnce you have made the decision to move forward and become a Glama

Gal Franchisee , you will sign the Franchise Agreement, pay the franchise

fee and officially become part of the family. From Start to finish the pro-cess usually takes 6 to 18 months depending on Real Estate availability.

7) Be ReadySite Design, Selection and Construction.

8) Be a Glama Gal Training at our Head Office in Vaughan.

Seven Questions to Ask Yourself

Before Investing in aGlama Gal Franchise

expenses that will come up, and you want to ensure that you are able to manage and get beyond those expenses.

Dream Team

Create a dream team of advisors around you that you can count on and trust as your go-to mentors and advocates. This should include a franchise/business lawyer, accountant, business advisor, marketing specialist, and the like. Get this team familiar with your business and communicate with them regularly.

Family Support Business or franchise ownership has its rewards, but you will need the support of your family behind you. They need to understand that you will be busy, working many hours, especially when you first open your business. Make sure they understand your goals and tell them how they can assist you, whether that be emotionally or, physically.

Are you a Good Boss? Lots of people make great employees, but not everyone makes a great boss. Are you ready to handle people issues? Are you a leader who loves to motivate your team? Are you a visionary who can share and communicate the vision with others and get them excited about your business?

Are you able to follow direction? All franchises are systemized. When buying a franchise, you’re in business for yourself, but not by yourself. You have the support of head office, but you have limited, if any, room for creativity or implementing new ideas. You need to follow all of the systems in place by the head office. If you’re the type of person who walks to their own beat, than starting a new business or buying an already established business that isn’t a franchise is likely a better option for you.

Passion People must be passionate about what they are looking to buy and operate. If you’re not passionate about the industry you want to pursue, it will be difficult to be successful at it.

Relevant Industry & Work Experience it’s important to have relevant experience in the area that you’re passionate about. If you love animals, and you think it would be great to open a pet grooming franchise, work at one to get a feel for it before jumping in and investing in one. Although it may be your passion, you may not enjoy working in it for 8-10 hours a day, 5-7 days a week to start.

Capital / Funding So many people get into business or franchise ownership being under-capitalized. It’s important to realize that you need back-up funding, of at least one year, to support yourself and your business. There will always be unexpected

Laura and Josie have made it clear from day one that we are “sisters”.
