You have all worked amazingly hard this year to achieve exceptional results. We are fortunate at Franklin to have such dedicated staff that go above and beyond to deliver quality learning opportunities for all students. 2015 saw great things happening. The launch of our breakfast program and the partnership with Red Cross has been outstanding. The ‘Bluearth’ program provided primary students the skills to work as a team and build cooperation skills. The Footsteps dance program gave the students valuable performance skills. The Middle School Program for Year 6 students has ensured they are ready for high school. Our fantastic school choir performed at the live streaming of ‘Music Count us in at Taronga Zoo then performed at the Sydney Opera House. Tikirah Douglas was named as the Exceptional Young Person of the Yearat the NSW Children’s Week awards. The individual success of so many students at Franklin who participated in academic, cultural and sporting endeavours and achieved their personal best has been wonderful to observe. I wish you all a very happy and safe Christmas and look forward to working with you in 2016 to continue to achieve greatness.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the staff and students of Franklin Public School. You have all worked
