Earn and Learn for Franklin Public School

Franklin Public School would like to thank our local

community who supported our school by collecting

Woolworths Earn and Learn points. In yet another

example of the strong support our school receives,

Franklin has been able to purchase an exciting range of

educational resources thanks to past efforts. The school

was able to select from thousands of valuable school

resources - from arts and crafts, to Mathematics and

Science equipment. The new equipment and supplies

were presented to us by local Woolworths staff and have

been welcomed by our students and teachers.

Franklin’s Basketball Success!

A great afternoon was had by students taking

part in the Highlands basketball trials last

Thursday. Franklin proudly congratulates Byron

Belt, Jecayla Coe, Alec Cassidy, William Ingle

Maddison Piper and Aston Rossiter who have

been given the opportunity to represent our

school at the Riverina level in Albury.

Can You Help Us with the Franklin Learnscape?

This learnscape will double as a mindfulness centre, equipped with a labyrinth and sensory pathway where

students can go to when calming and meditation needs to be practised to make clear choices.

We are looking for interested persons who would be willing to join our committee and assist us in building

this fantastic learning area for our students. If you would like to be involved, could you please contact the

Goodes Coaches would like to thank everyone for such a great start to the school bus year. The drivers have commented on how most children are behaving on the school buses and following directions.

You will find most of the school buses now have seatbelts please ask your children to put seatbelts on as soon as they get onto the school bus.

All of the school buses do not allow eating or drinking on the bus unless it is water and if your child needs to get off at a different stop from their designated stop they will require a note to the driver.

Transport NSW has passed on some great bus safety brochures which we encourage every parent to read and show their children Any queries at any time feel free to call Goodes Coaches depot on (02) 6947 2636

From the Library
