AMC Alarms launches with all the bells and whistles at SecTech.

The SecTech roadshow kicked off in Sydney early last month to the sounds of sirens rather than a bang. It was the launch of the AMC Alarm range that was turning heads and bringing in attendees by the boat load as its siren song lulled one and all to the wonderful orange glow of the LSC Security Supplies expo area.

The Italian import proved quite the lure, drawing a healthy crowd to the stand with its comprehensive range of panels, detectors, sirens and keypads. Designed and manufactured just north of Milan, the AMC range lives up to the regions reputation for its striking aesthetics and durable construction.

With a sole focus on intrusion products, AMC have a deep understanding of the needs of both installers and end users. The latter is evident in their market-leading AMC Manager App, which allows end users to control their alarm from their smart phone or tablet.

Compatible with both iOS and Android systems, the intuitive app can be loaded with a map of the building or area so as to give the user a pictorial representation of alarmed zones.

largest ever victorian mlaa branch meeting in the history of association

The cool autumn weather couldn’t dampen the spirits at the recent Victorian MLAA branch meeting, which saw the largest number of attendees in the history of the association. A record breaking 237 people came along to see the launch of our newly refurbished Victorian branch showroom and warehouse in North Melbourne.

The event was supported by experts from a range of manufacturers including Dahua technologies, AMC Alarms and HID.

Product managers from ABUS, S&G , Lockwood, BRAVA, and DormaKaba completed the list for the night - and that was in the showroom alone!

Outside the newly revamped showroom, customers had the opportunity to see the latest in Automotive key technology in a purpose set up dome ran by our TSU-TechEd. The latest PRO series key machines from Silca were on show with ‘night only’ specials available to locksmiths who came along.

To add to the excitement, the MLAA announced on the night that a brand new Hyundai i30 will be up for grabs at this year’s Geelong conference in October. The shiny new i30 was on display for

visitors along with an iLoad van, kindly provided by Werribee Hyundai.

As for the meeting component, Mark Johnson opened the proceedings by visiting the history behind the building where the event was held. Jason Catlow, the Victorian MLAA director �lled everyone in on the latest news from the MLAA. The meeting ended with a swag of door prizes being raf�ed off to lucky attendees.

We look forward to hosting the next MLAA meeting but until then, we invite you to visit our brand new showroom in North Melbourne which is bursting at the seams with exciting new security products.

May has been a very busy month for LSC staff with product and sales training on the AMC Alarms and Dahua ranges.

Many of our sales staff participated in the 2 day AMC sessions covering off both technical and sales based training. Dahua training was also carried out both in house and in the Dahua dedicated training rooms in their offices in Sydney and Melbourne.

With all product ranges wired up on working displays these can be utilised by our customers to showcase and demonstrate the Dahua cameras to end users in a professional and modern environment.

These one day pop-up tradeshows see 16 of the countries leading distributors andmanufacturers travel to each capital city for this innovative and industry targeted event.
