Welcome to worship at WFMC! Here are some helpful notes if you are new.

THE COMMUNICATION CARD is key to allowing us to welcome you fully. Please fill it out and drop it in the gold box after worship. We won’t harass you,

but we’d love to send a welcoming note.

THE WORSHIP GUIDE in this folder leads through our service. We try to use elements, liturgy, music and sacraments from a variety of Christian traditions to help lead people of all ages, stages, and tastes into God’s presence. Worship is participatory, so please join in prayer, word, giving, and song.

NURSERY for children up to 2 years is available all morning in the Pre-school Complex, Building B.

CHILDREN’S WORSHIP JR. (CWJR, age 2 and 3) is available all year for both morning worship service in the Pre-school Complex, Building B.

CHILDREN’S WORSHIP (CW, age 4 through grade 3) After the Children’s Time, children are escorted by CW Staff to A102. Following worship, parents of children ages 4 through Kindergarten must pick up their children from room A102. Children in grades 1-3 will be taken to their Sunday School classroom. Following 11:00 worship, parents must pick up their children from A102 downstairs.

HEARING ASSISTANCE DEVICES are available in the foyer.

WHEELCHAIR SEATING is readily available in the center aisle or an usher will be glad to remove a sanctuary chair for your convenience.

PRAYER FOCUS: Let’s keep the Lands and the Searls in our prayers as they continue their work, and let’s pray that we all would follow the call of God to share the news of Jesus’ forgiveness and redemption.

WORLD MISSION FOCUS—COLOMBIA: Pray for Andrea Tinsley as she has now been in Colombia one week! Pray as she settles in to her ministry at Medellin, adjust to her new home, friends and community. Andrea will be assisting with administration and youth family ministry.

HOME MISSION FOCUS: Pray for Assurance for Life as they counsel women and men facing unexpected and often crisis pregnancies. Pray that the staff will have Godly wisdom and that they will be protected from burnout.

YOUTH MINISTRY FOCUS: Please keep the youth attending Fall Retreat in prayer. Pray that they are encountering the Lord in a new way and that they bring home a new desire to share Jesus with those in their communities.

FIRST SUNDAY SOCIALS - We are scheduling an all-church social the first Sunday night of each month, as the calendar allows. See Thanksgiving ➔➔ Social announcement in right column. And while you’re at it, add the Christmas Caroling Social on December 5—both begin at 6:00 p.m.

PRIMETIMERS (60+) gather Thursday, November 4, 12:00 noon in Building C for a potluck lunch and program. The PrimeTimers committee requests that you bring a mask to wear while at the food tables. Carol Sue Ray will present a show & tell about her photos displayed at the Jessamine County Library during the winter. Bring your phones or tablets so that she can teach you some tricks to make your own photos more creative.

PLUMBLINE: Please submit information regarding your ministry for the December/January issue to Glenn McGlothlin by November 10. His email is: [email protected].

LADIES’ NIGHT OUT! Ladies -- join us for food, fellowship and laughter next Monday, November 8 at 6:00 p.m. at Drakes in Brannon Crossing. Questions? Call or text Ginny Proctor at 859-553-9784.I hope we see you!

MENS MINSTRY SPONSORING A “MOM’S NIGHT OFF!” Dads, grandads, wanna-be dads and friends - bring your sons and daughters or just yourself to have a night of food, fellowship, and games. Come out and donate the gift of life! The KY Blood Center is at a critical low in blood supply and have asked us to give at least 26 donations. Let’s plan a record numbers of donations - our record so far is 32 donations this past March.

BABY SHOWER NOVEMBER 7 Joe & Regina Dongell invite you to a drop-in baby shower, 2-4:00 p.m. at their home (2145 Handy’s Bend Road). Celebrate with them and son Jordan & Heather Dongell.

Jordan & Heather’s are registered at Amazon and Target. RSVPs to Regina at [email protected] would be helpful, but aren't required.

All-Church Thanksgiving Dinner Sunday, November 7 * 6:00 p.m. * Building C

The church will provide Turkey, Dressing, Gravy, Ham, Potatoes and Drinks

CHILDREN’S WORSHIP JR. (CWJR) for children ages 2 and 3, is available in the Building B Preschool Wing for the entire worship service time.

CHILDREN’S WORSHIP for children age 4 through grade 3 meets in Room A102 downstairs. After the Children’s Time, children are escorted by CW Staff to A102.
