FEBUS OPTICS brought a new generation of optical fiber based sensor system to the market. This distributed optical fiber technology, called FEBUS G1, uses Brillouin back scattering effect to monitor strain and temperature every meter over several tens of kilometers.
Products
This innovative equipment allows the monitoring of infrastructures over long distances and helps to detect and prevent any integrity failures. It measures the strain and temperature with a high precision (less than 10µm/m and 0,5 °T) and over 30 km with an accuracy of 1 meter.
