Question 1) What are the usual weather conditions at Club Med Peisey-Vallandry?

Answer: Club Med Peisey-Vallandry lies within the ski domain of Paradiski, which is formed by the

areas of La Palgne and Les Arcs, in the Southern Alps. Paradiski has a continental-type climate,

enjoying cold, snowy winters and hot, dry summers. Temperatures can drop to -10c in winter, and

reach over 30c in summer. A dry wind, known as the ‘Fohn’, blows through the Alps in spring and

autumn, making it the perfect region for wild flora to thrive.

Question 2) How does the ski tuition work at Club Med Peisey-Vallandry?

Answer: Club Med Peisey-Vallandry is the perfect resort for families, beginner or leisurely skiers. You

will train in small groups of 12 maximum, with beginner, intermediate and advanced ski runs for

guests to use. Group lessons and lift passes are included in your ski package. You can pre-book your

ski and ski boot hire, as extras, via Travel Club Elite. Helmets are available for rent & are compulsory

for children under 12 years.

Question 3) What non-ski activities are there at Club Med Peisey-Vallandry?

Answer: At Club Med Peisey-Vallandry, guests can make full use of the indoor and outdoor heated

pools, the Club Med Fitness Suite, Nordic Walking and hiking. Other fun activities include parties,

evening activities in the lounge and the Club Med Spa by NUXE.

Question 4) Can I learn to both ski and snowboard at Club Med Peisey-Vallandry?

Answer: You cannot learn both activities at the same time; however, if you are a skier then you can

try snowboarding and if you do not like it, you can always go back to the ski groups (size permitting).

Answer:

- Your accommodation: choice of Club Room, Deluxe Room or Club Med Suite.

- Your meals, snacks & drinks: open bar and snacks. Drinks include wine, beers and soft

drinks.

- Your sports & activities: Alpine Skiing, Snowboarding, Hiking, Nordic Walking, Sledging and

the Special Teens Ski Programme. Other activities include the indoor and outdoor swimming

pool, Turkish bath, Sauna, Club Med Fitness & evening entertainments and parties.

- Your Children’s Clubs: Mini Club Med (4-10 years), Club Med Passworld (11-17 years) (open

on selected dates).

- Flights & transfers are included.

- Group ski lessons & lift passes are included in your package.

Question 2) What are the optional extras at Club Med Peisey-Vallandry?

Answer:

- Your optional extras* (pre-book): Petit Club Med (2-3 years), Club Med Spa packages by

Answer: Not at Club Med Peisey-Vallandry. Only certain resorts have this option available –

Chamonix, Meribel, Pragelato, Villars and Wengen.

Answer: On occasion, Club Med will do a Snow Guarantee at Club Med Peisey-Vallandry. Please ask us for its availability (0121 213 0012) and we will check for you.

Accommodation, Facilities & Services

Question 1) Is there a 5 Trident Luxury Space at Club Med Peisey-Vallandry?

Answer: No, the 5 Trident Luxury Space is not available at Club Med Peisey-Vallandry. Instead,

guests have the choice of a Club Room, Deluxe Rooms or Club Med Suites.

Question 2) Does Club Med Peisey-Vallandry accommodate special dietary needs?

Answer: Yes, in the main restaurant there is a large buffet with a wide selection of the most delicious

food. Whilst there is no guarantee that food preparation will be free from certain allergens, such as

nuts, Club Med Peisey-Vallandry will try to cater for most allergies and food intolerances. We advise

guests to visit the restaurant manager, on arrival & he will guide you around with a chef & explain the

various food stations.

Question 3) Are the swimming pools at Club Med Peisey-Vallandry heated?

Answer: Yes, both the indoor pool and outdoor pool at Club Med Peisey-Vallandry are heated.

Question 4) Is the Wi-Fi free at Club Med Peisey-Vallandry?

Answer: At present there is free Wi-Fi in some public areas at Peisey-Vallandry, with a paid facility

(20 Euros, 3 devices, per week) for Club Room connectivity. Upgrades are in progress*.

Question 5) How do I get to the resort and what is the transfer time at Club Med Val d’Isere?

Answer: If you choose to arrange your own flights, or other travel arrangements, you may book

transfers to Club Med Peisey-Vallandry, as part of your all inclusive package. Club Med will pick you

up on arrival at the airport or train station and take you to the Resort. For those making their own way

to the resort, transfers can usually be arranged from local airports & rail stations, at a supplement.

Please ask us for details.

Transfer times to Club Med Peisey-Vallandry vary, depending on arrival point. The transfer time from

Grenoble is 2hrs and 20 minutes, 2hrs and 20 minutes from Lyon St Exupery, 1hr 45 minutes from

Chambery-Voglans and 2hrs and 30 minutes from Geneva. With independent travel, the check-in time

is from 15:00hrs & check-out is by 10:00hrs.

Children & Families at Club Med Peisey-Vallandry

Question 1) Can the children eat with us at Club Med Peisey-Vallandry?

Answer: Yes, they are very welcome to do so. Your children can eat their meals with their G.O (Gentil

Organisateur) or with you.

Question 2) If I have two children 2 years apart and are both beginners, can they ski in the

same group at Club Med Peisey-Vallandry?

Answer: Usually, G.O’s at Club Med Peisey-Vallandry will split the Mini Club to 4-6 years, 6-8 years

and 8-10 years, however the resorts do make exceptions depending on how many children have

signed up to the clubs that week. However, until they sign up, the resort will not be able to confirm

this.

Question 3) If my child doesn’t like skiing, can they change activities at Club Med Peisey-

Vallandry?

Answer: Of course. Mini Club/Juniors Club operates throughout the day, so the children will have

plenty of other activities to choose from, in the company of a G.O., if they do not enjoy skiing.

Question 4) Can I pick my children up to ski with them for some of the time at Club Med

Peisey-Vallandry?

Answer: Yes, certainly. You will need to sign them out of the children’s clubs for that day, but you can

always sign them back in, at any time.

Question 5) Are there family rooms available at Club Med Peisey-Vallandry?

Answer: Yes. There are 134 family rooms available at Club Med Peisey-Vallandry, subject to

availability.

Question 6) What is the layout of family rooms at Club Med Peisey-Vallandry?

Answer: This will depend on the Club Med room type, whether they are Quad (four-bedded), Deluxe,
