Dear Friend Ships Family:

Warm greetings! Thank you for all you continually do to help us here at Friend Ships. We aregrateful to the Lord for you!

The crew, Ready Response Team and Sea Hawks have all been busy this month with outreachesthe community including assisting with senior athletic games, childrens programs, visiting nurshomes and the big event of the month- a Friend Ships famous Mad Hatters Tea Party complete wservers costumed as the childrens favorite storybook characters, puppet shows, minisrefreshments and etiquette training, all with a theme of anti-bullying and loving ones neighbor.

The ships (Spirit, Integrity, Hope aMersea) have work teams chippipainting and cleaning. Disaster revehicles and equipment are systematicabeing checked and readied for use. Onewest toterhome is having buinstalled for housing teams during la

A 50 shore boat is being prepared for use aboard Hope by getta complete makeover. A fishing boat recently donated is being cleaned, organized, repaired amaintained. Warehouses are being cleaned and organized. We are completing much work on grounds, hauling in dirt for various projects, planting trees and restoring one of our large tents.

strengthen our walk with the Lord and to have Pastor Norman Thomas teach the Sea Hawks evweek. We are receiving a large amount of applications for the upcoming Sea Hawk session and hmet with the leaders of the National Guard Youth Challenge who would like to consider referrsome of their graduates to us for phase two of their training.

In last months Activities Report, we described some of our new plans for the future. This has ban intense period of prayer and planning so we would like to elaborate more on the wonderful plthe Lord is putting on our hearts. Included with this letter is an illustration of these plans that

hope you will keep to remind you to pray with us. We are so excited about the future!

With the vision for the new gym facility in Lake Charles, YKnot?, to utilize a full service health cto reach all aspects of the local community with fitness and spiritual activities for children, teenagyoung adults, families, singles and the elderly, we plan to take the Sea Hawk program to a whnew level; training young men and women to draw close to the Lord and become physically fit aat the same time preparing some to send out as teams in order to birth similar facilities in nlocations. Our dream is to see this multi-faceted ministry duplicated many times over throughout country and the world.

With the launching of MV Hope as a mobile conference center to Haiti, we hope to reach maaspects of the communities we visit with leadership training for church personnel, seminars agricultural techniques, firefighting, law enforcement, military, politicians, teacher and medpersonnel, all, of course, based on principals of the Bible and ethical practices.

Sending MV Mersea to Israel will give us a base of operations to assist immigrants with medical afood aid while providing a year to remember for Sea Hawks graduates and others as they growthe Lord, help those in need, develop a love for Israel and her people; and study the Word of Gwhile experiencing the actual holy sites first-hand.

Building up our land based disaster relief operations as well as standing ready with MV Integritydisaster response in this hemisphere will allow us to provide large scale food service, spiritsupport, house to house assistance, commodity distribution, search and rescue, helicopter suppand emergency broadcasting.

Home base Port Mercy has several major, ongoing improvement projects. Weve assessed our nefor converting one of our buildings to a Sea Hawk dorm and hope to start construction soon. We building a dry dock for our boats and hope to soon construct an attractive, new, tall fence along front of the property. We plan to utilize MV Spirit in a greater way at home base with upgradesthe ships house that accommodates our teams and guests and by utilizing cargo holds for storand workshops.

What a joy it is to labor for the Lord! Thank you for laboring with us as you join us in prayer and gto this ministry through finances, goods or service. 1 Cor 15: 58 Therefore, my dear brothers asisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lobecause you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain. Hallelujah! Thank you for standiwith us and giving yourselves to the work of the Lord.
