Remember when dress up was a part of the ?
Remember when yourteacher set time apart for ?
Remember when playing with your food was ?
Remember when your decision was what color cup you wanted to drink from?
Friedrich Wilhelm August Fröbel was
a German pedagogue, a student of
Pestalozzi who laid the foundation
for modern education based on the
recognition that children have unique
needs and capabilities.
He is the reason for creative learning.
He is the reason for play in school.
He is the reason for kindergarten.
Meet the Froebel Method.
Froebel USA is a company that is trying to revitalize the creative way of education with Froebel’s methods.
Froebel USA’s goal is to teach children a way of learning through a creative outlet.
They want to expand a child’s mind and help them discover who they are at an earlier age.
Froebel also makes it a priority to help a child become a suc-cessful leader in the community in a world that needs creative minds for problem solving.
Because Froebel Gifts are gifts that are effective in teaching children how to think outside of the box with problem solving.

The whole is the beginning of understanding and everything else is derived from the whole.
The shapes are used to represent objects in a child’s life and en-courages a child’s description of objects creatively.
The child will begin to see this gift of pieces that are a part of the whole and their relationship to the whole.
This feature will aid in creating modular constructions and designs, and propor-tion can be discussed as part of the Forms of Knowledge.

Fractions and other mathematical concepts can be discovered and concepts of geometric shapes.
Children are asked to create with a point with no dimension. Essentially only “position” is referenced.
Scale, proportion and modular-ity can be discovered by having the child make as many different squares as possible.
This gift brings the cycle full circle by combining the point and line to create a frame-work of solid forms.
This gift allows the child to represent these objects in two-dimensional form.
represents the edges or outlines of objects.
“We want to know that this product will help
our family members look to creative thinking
to solve problems in the world that is affect-
ing Mother Nature and our society.”
The Extended Family:
“I want to know the Froebel’s history,
the design method, and the signifi-
cance of Froebel in this day and age.”
The Designers:
“I want to know the effectiveness of
Froebel, how it teaches children creative
realms of thinking, and how it will develop
unique individuals for the future.”
The Young Parents:
The Educational Facilities:
“We want to know that these toys are
smart effective toys that will sell because
of their effectiveness and their popularity
through young parents.”
There is a lack of personal connections.
Froebel has a quality product, but when looking at
their communication tools, there is minimal ties to
children or parents with the gifts. Froebel’s methods
seem cold. It does not relate to children and it goes
not urge parents to buy the gifts.
Functional
I appreciate that the Froebel meth-
od helps my child interact positively
with their peers, the community,
and mother earth.
SocialMental
These methods allow me to feel
confident in my child’s develop-
ment in creative thinking, and it
makes me excited to support my
child with their education.
Spiritual
I appreciate the use of these toys for
children because it helps them look
positively to the future when they
become influential leaders.
Froebel USA
Froebel provides my child with
creative, developmental methods
that will teach him/her to think
abstractly within society.
“I appreciate the use of these toys
for children because it helps them look

“These methods allow me to feel confident in
my child’s development in creative thinking,
and it makes me excited to support my child

“I appreciate that the Froebel
method helps my child interact
positively with their peers, the
community, and mother earth.”
Where is this problem stemming from?
It seems that Froebel is focusing primarily on
telling its history and not speaking to the present
audience. We must connect the story to the people
who use Froebel.
Why?
Why? Why? Why?Why?
Not having a personal connection
included in the brand along with
not enough publicity.
Focusing more on the design
aspects of the gifts and not the
people effected.
Not broadening their scope to
more than just designers that
understand Froebel.
Not many people know who
Froebel is and it is hard to explain
the history to sell a product.
Focusing more on the history of
Froebel and not on the modern
uses for everyday people.
Froebel USA
From looking at the competition, Froebel’s
brand lacks in comparison.
This is primarily due to the fact that the other
companies focus on their audience and appeal
to multiple audiences that find the benefit to
purchasing the product.

Change the target audience.Include the parents that want their children to become creative thinkers even if they don’t know
who Froebel is.
Move the focus to creative marketing with personal connections. We need to show the audience we are connecting to children and not just lecturing on a history
lesson. To make this product sell, we must connect to the buyers.
Highlight the importance of creative development for the future.
You must help the parents understand that our education system needs creative thinkers, not just
scientists, and engineers. We need problem solvers.
Focus on the idea that “Humans are creative beings.”You must go back to the basics. Everyone can create. Everyone can enjoy these toys. Showcase
how Froebel created Kindergarten because parents can relate to that, but don’t dwell on it.
Change the Brand. The logo needs to go along with what little brand that Froebel has. There
is a reason why Froebel is blowing up in Asia. It is effective and we need to make the brand for
Froebel USA the best it can be.
We need to make improvements!
Humans are creative beings. This is from a spiritual perspective which separates us from nature.
Play is the Engine of Real Learning. Harness child’s play that can then get that child to think creatively.
What?
How?
Who?
Why?
Where?
When?
The only developmental education method.
That educates through unity and connection.
For children during their first stages of life.
Who appreciate natural curiosity and absorbing knowledge.
Across the United States.
During an era when the educational system limits creativity.
And with one phrase, we will make Froebel stand out above the competition.
Our developmental education method is
the only method that inspires children’s
natural curiosity in an era when most
educational systems limit creativity.
A system of education that
provides children with toys and
other resources, like workbooks,
that encourage children to think
outside of the box and connect to
the world around them.
Our developmental education
method is the only method that
educates children during their first
years of life through unity and con-
nections, which in turn lets them
appreciate natural curiosity during
an era when the educational system
limits creativity.

My Dreams
My Fears
My Personal Motto
Home is where your rump rests. The idea that
anywhere and everyone is home and people you
care about.
Meet Froebel...
I dream about making sandcastles and building
a fort in a nearby forest. I dream about being a
prince or princess of a magic, far away land that no
one knows about except the trolls and the fairies.
I dream about fighting dragons with a magical
sword made out of popsicle sticks and I later, I
would recreate the battle through playdough. I
dream of dreams with bright colors and marshmel-
low clouds. I wake up from my dreams smiling.
I am afraid of math problems and dull science mov-
ies. I am afraid of serious adults and distant parents.
My HeroesMy iPod
My ResidenceMy Favorite Literary Figure
My heroes would be my parents or loved ones. I
look up to my teachers and my peers. I look up to
people like batman and spiderman, men and women
that are normal people that do great things with the
skills they are given. It is not enough to look up to
one person because of what they do, it is something
more to look up to super heroes because they know
they are putting themselves in danger and they are
selfless enough to do that for others. All about con-
nections and interdependence.
I live is in a treehouse out in the middle of a for-
est. I stay up there collecting insects and leaves.
I sneek food from my parent’s house and put it in
my treasure chest that I made out of carboard and
stash it high away in the branches. I set traps for
animals and keep a lookout post with a telescope
to watch out for intruders. I separate the rooms of
my house with old ragged sheets and carve in its
walls markings of adventures I have had and secret
messages to others who one day will find this hide-
away and use it for their own.

Van Morrison: And it Stoned Me
Jim Croce: Bad Bad Leroy Brown
Katy Perry: Firework

Lady Gaga: Pokerface
Paul Simon: You Can Call Me Al
Mark Twain:
As soon as Tom was back we cut along the path,
around the garden fence, and by and by fetched
up on the steep top of the hill the other side of
the house. Tom said he slipped Jim’s hat off of his
head and hung it on a limb right over him, and Jim
stirred a little, but he didn’t wake. Afterwards Jim
said the witches bewitched him and put him in a
trance, and rode him all over the state, and then
set him under the trees again

Children
Create play dates for your children. All work and no play doesn’t allow your child to learn from their environment and peers around them. Children will not only learn social skills but also learn creative ways of thinking as well.
Let

Kids
Play is an antidote to loneliness, isolation, anxiety, and depression. When your child plays vigorously, they trigger a mix of endorphins that lift spirits and distractions that distance them from pain, fear and other burdens. Make sure your child is getting enough physical and mental exercise in their lives including that apple a day!
