Art Journaling I feel that art has something to do with the achievement of
stillness in the midst of chaos. A stillness which
characterizes prayer, too. —Saul Bellow
This retreat is designed to encourage and guide participants to let their inner creativity and inner wisdom emerge.
Through well planned art and journaling exercises, participants will have an opportunity to open themselves to the Spirit within. With no emphasis on product, they can work freely, letting the images and colors lead to new insights. Each session is guaranteed to be playful as well as prayerful.
Absolutely no art or writing skills are necessary. Participants need to bring only a childlike willingness to set aside inhibitions and to be delighted with the magic of color and the wonder of words.
I write to mend
those places that got
snagged, ripped or frayed
while being human,
with other humans....

April 17-19, 2020 The retreat begins at 7:30pm on Friday and concludes after the noon meal on Sunday. Cost of $255 includes $50 non-refundable deposit, overnight accommodations, supplies, and meals.
