Dear Church Family, This morning we will continue our series – Overcoming Strongholds. We are using Ephesians 6:10-20 as our key Scripture passage. We have established that we are in a war, a spiritual war. The question for each of us – Are you at war? You are fighting the good fight of faith. Early in this series we learned that we must find our strength in the Lord. We also saw clearly, with the help of Sheriff Walker, how our own righteousness is but filthy rags and no match for the fiery – ‘tazing’ – darts of the devil. In the following messages, we will look more closely at the “whole armor of God.” Today, we will also receive an update on our Clear Vision 2020 campaign that launched last May. We will also hear a 2017 financial summary. I am excited what God is doing through His church at FBC Brookhaven. Each member is spiritually gifted and blessed to give and serve in the Lord’s kingdom. He calls for us walk with Him daily and share consistently and generously with others. What is our greatest gift we can give to a lost world? The Gospel. So share your testimony this week and invite someone to join you here. People of the Word…People of Prayer Shalom, Bro. Greg PS: Please remember Terri, me and our group as we take 27 people with us to Israel for 13 days. While I am introducing the group to the Holy Land, you will be blessed by the messages of our staff and Dr. Steve Jackson. Support these gifted servants of the Lord with your attendance and encouragement.
