Every Wednesday we have Lunch and Learn, a stimulating discussion about works by Jewish authors, led by Prof. Abbey Kapelovitz, Ph.D. (English Literature).You may bring your own dairy brown bag or purchase a lox and bagels lunch for $6. We also started a fun Women’s Social Network that meets monthly. The Women's Social Network is for Jewish women, single or mar- ried, members or not. The Network hosts monthly events in order to connect women who share interests (movies, theatre, etc.) or passions (Mah Jongg, hiking, etc.). Members are provided with a roster so that between meetings you can contact other Network members to go to movies, theater, or anything else you like. There is no charge to belong to the Network.We have two Mah Jongg groups - one meets Monday nights from 7–9:30 p.m.in the HEA Library and the second group meets Thursday afternoons and is run through the Women’s Social Network. On Saturday mornings, we have weekly Torah study classes during Musaf, followed by our outstanding Kiddush lunch. The Hebrew Educational Alliance offers a wide rangeof exciting programming for Oy to Joy readers. Jewish Family ServiceThrough May.Naum Katsenelson Art ExhibitThis exhibit, showcasing Katsenelson’s watercolors and pastels andsponsored by the Mizel Museum and the Healing Center, will intro-duce his poignant street scenes in Israel, quiet streets of Nice,parks ofSpain, canals in Venice, rainy roads of ancient Rome, and explorationof nature, which reflect a warmth, richness, and beauty. Katsenelsonis a member of the Mizel Museum’s Colorado Jewish Artists Guild(CJAG). The exhibit will run through May and the Healing Center isaccepting requests for group tours.
