Our mission is to continue to do what we have always done, we always relish in breaking our own records and setting new horizons for ourselves to excel up to the optimum. Along with the academics we also believe in the holistic development of our students. We encourage all students to participate in a variety of co-curricular activities from art, dance and drama to a variety of sports as well as teach them about their obligations towards environment, social work and peaceful co-existence and this all happens with the sincere efforts and great team work of our teachers, students and parents. We always look forward to work together as a team to make the teaching, learning experience a happy and meaningful one to produce conscientious, smart and confident citizens of tomorrow. R.K.sawhney OUR ACHIEVEMENTS-ACADEMICS: The reputation of any educational institution lies largely upon the performance in academic realm.It is needless to mention that our school has been performing excellently well both in curricular and co-curricular activities since the date of inception. Excellence in academics provides a firm foundation for the development of other qualities. Our endeavour to arrive at new feat of excellence is possible due to the diligent teaching staff,hard working students and caring parents. In the CBSE class 10 th examination of the session 2016-17 our school’s result was the most noteworthy, continuing the trend of achieving spectacular results, 15 of our students scored a 10 points grade in CGPA scale (cumulative grade point average).The total number of students appeared were 82. The excellence index and quality index were 100 % and 8.6 respectively. Students of other classes also excelled in the exams of the session 2016-17. 124 students of our primary section got A* in all subjects and 53 students of VI IX secured A1 in all subjects.

OUR ACHIEVEMENTS-ACADEMICS:

The reputation of any educational institution lies largely upon the performance in academic realm.It is needless to mention that our school has been performing excellently well both in curricular and co-curricular activities since the date of inception. Excellence in academics provides a firm foundation for the development of other qualities. Our endeavour to arrive at new feat of excellence is possible due to the diligent teaching staff,hard working students and caring parents.

In the CBSE class 10th examination of the session 2016-17 our school’s result was the most noteworthy, continuing the trend of achieving spectacular results, 15 of our students scored a 10 points grade in CGPA scale (cumulative grade point average).The total number of students appeared were 82. The excellence index and quality index were 100 % and 8.6 respectively. Students of other classes also excelled in the exams of the session 2016-17. 124 students of our primary section got A* in all subjects and 53 students of VI –IX secured A1 in all subjects.

LOCAL LEVEL SCIENCE, SOCIAL

SCIENCE, MATHS & TEACHING

AIDS EXHIBITION.

On 28th April 2017 the local level exhibition on Science, Social Science, Mathematics and Teaching Aids was organized. 450 students and teachers participated in it with great enthusiasm. Shri N.K. Pushpakar, Station Director 1&2, RR Site, NPCIL was the chief Guest on the function. The purpose of the exhibition was to short list the exhibits for All India inter AECS Science, Social Science, Maths & Teaching Aids Exhibition 2017 as well as to acquaint students with the different skills in life and to develop a scientific temperament in them.

TEACHING AIDS EXHIBITION.

This year our school got the proud privilege to be the host of All India inter AECS Science, Social Science, Maths & Teaching Aids Exhibition. The exhibition was conducted on 10th and 11th August. Thirty one AEC Schools & Junior Colleges participated in this exhibition. A total number of one hundred fourteen exhibits were show

cased. Shri Rajneesh Prakash, Chairman, Atomic Energy Education Society was the Chief Guest on the inaugural function and Shri V.K. Jain, Site Director, RR Site & Chairman LMC, AEC Schools,

Rawatbhta was the President to the function. On the valedictory function Shri R.K. Gupta, General Manager, Heavy Water Plant, Kota & Co-Chairman, LMC, AEC Schools,Rbt was the chief guest and Sh.M. Srinivas, Station Director, RAPS, 5&6, & Vice Chairman, AEC Schools, Rbt was the president to the function. Our School’s exhibit “Super Utility Defence and Emergency Vehicle in the Social Science category presented by Master Tarang Srivas of Class X begged first prize in this exhibition. This project was showcased in JNSSE at Bhopal in the second week of November 2017.

NTSE In NTSE Master Anshul Navphule qualified the first stage examination at the State level and brought laurels to our school.

HINDI VIGYAN

PRASHANA MANCH In the Inter AECS Zonal level Hindi Vigyan Prashana Manch held at AECS No.3, Rawatbhata on 31st October 2017 our students Master Priyansh Rathi of class X A and Miss Nandini Karad of Class X B brought laurels for the school by securing 2nd position. Each of them were awarded with a silver medal, prize money worth Rs 200/- and a certificate.

INTER AECS CULTURAL MEET It was held on 9th ,10th and 11th Nov 2017 at AECS-1,Hyderabad .Our children participated in all the events viz. solo song,group dance ,carnatic etc.

VIGILANCE AWARENESS ESSAY

COMPETITION CONDUCTED BY

VIGILANCE CELL,RR SITE

On 5th October 2017 an essay competition was conducted by the vigilance cell of RR site in our school on the topic “My Vision- Corruption Free India”.Seventy three students participated in this competition out of which Master Gursimar Singh of class IX A stood first, Master Aditya Acharya of Class IX B stood second and Miss Shruti Upadhyay of class X B stood third. They were awarded a certificate and prize money worth Rs 600,500 and 400 respectively in a function held at RR Site on 3rd November 2017. AECS No.2, Rbt separately also conducted the vigilance Awareness Week from 30th October 2017 to 3rd November 2017. A number of programmes like administering oath, lectures and awareness about corruption were conducted.

FIRE AND SAFETY

COMPETITIONS CONDUCTED BY

RR SITE On 12th August 2017 safety competition were organized in our school by the safety section

of NPCIL, RR Site, different safety competitions were conducted on this occasion such as slogan writing, poster making and essay competition. The officials of the RR Site honored the winners in a function conducted in the school during the morning assembly.

OUR SPLENDID PERFORMANCE IN

NCC NCC Air Wing Cadet Yuvraj Parashar of class X attended Republic day Parade and got one silver medal in composite dance and one bronze medal in group dance competition. NCC Air Wing Cadet Master Sagar Maheshwari of class X was selected as a best cadet in CATC camp and received Rs 6000/- cash award.NCC Army Girls Wing Cadets Km Sonal Dhaka, Km Swati Gupta and Km Khushboo of class X have been awarded a scholarship of Rs 6000/- each. In CATC (V) Cum Pre Vayu Sainik Camp held at Patwar Training Shala, Nayagaon, Kota from 3rd Oct.2017 to 12th Oct. 2017 our school got the overall championship trophy. During this camp our ANO of Air Wing, NCC; T/O Dr. A.H. Khan was selected as best contingent commander for his exceptional performance and was given the honour to lead the contingent in all India Vayu Sainik Camp held at Jodhpur from 23rd Oct. 2017 to 3rd Nov. 2017.

WORKSHOPS “Workshops are rejuvenating sessions for

teachers in developing new strategies of

teaching methodologies and keeping pace

with change of syllabus.” An orientation program was organized by NCERT on “Capacity building”,it was attended by Shri Gajraj,PRT and Shri Lokesh Meena, PRT at Kendriya Vidyalaya, Bajaj Nagar, Jaipur from 6th June to

17th June 2017 and Km. Dipti Srivastava, TGT attended at Kendriya Vidyalaya Chandigarh Cantt, Punchkula From 15th May to 26th May 2017 . Principal, Shri R.K. Sawhney underwent training in purchase & procurement at NIFM Faridabad from 28th August 2017 to 3rd September 2017. An orientation programme held on “Retirement benefit and tally programme conducted by AEES at Mumbai was attended by Shri Santosh Sharma, UDC.

INVESTITURE CEREMONY The school activities started with the Investiture Ceremony conducted on 25th

April, 2017 in which students were bestowed with the responsibilities of school captains, house captains, and class prefects, to inculcate in them the leadership qualities for the betterment of the institution. Shri Vivek Jain, Station Director, RAPS 7&8 was the Chief Guest for the function. The Chief Guest congratulated the newly selected apex body members and inspired them towards positive approach in life.

INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY International Yoga Day was celebrated in our school on 21st June 2017 in which the students of classes 1st to Xth and all the staff members participated. On this occasion Sh. R.D. Sharma

informed students about the different yoga asanas. Principal, Sh. R.K. Sawhney urged the students and staff members to make yoga an indispensable part of life in order to lead a healthy e and disease free life.

SADBHAVANA DIWAS To inculcate the spirit of religious harmony and brotherhood the Sadbhavna Diwas was celebrated on 19th August 2017 with great zeal and fervor wherein the whole school participated along with the staff members. The Sadbhavana pledge was also taken by the students and the staff.

TEACHERS’ DAY On 5th Sep. 2017 Teachers’ Day was celebrated to commemorate the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvapalli Radha Krishnan, a great teacher, scholar, thinker and the second president of our country. On this occasion students were apprised of their duties & responsibilities in future and the teachers were honoured by the school authorities.

HINDI RAJBHASHA WEEK As Hindi is the National language of our country, in order to promote and spread this language and make it popular, Hindi week was celebrated from 21st September 2017 to 27 September 2017 . A Hindi Magazine is also being printed to mark this occasion.

GANDHI JAYANTI On 3rd October, Gandhi Jayanti was celebrated in our school in which Principal and staff members took part with great enthusiasm. To give Gandhi ji true homage cleanliness work was undertaken in the school campus.

CLEANLINESS DRIVE UNDER THE

SWACH BHARAT ABHIYAN To create awareness about cleanliness, on 3rd Oct all the Houses took part in cleanliness programme. Different

programmes were conducted in our school to make students aware about the importance of cleanliness along with allotment of duties to clean school premises. Principal Sh. R.K. Sawhney said on this occasion that even the animals they clean their surrounding than why not we the human beings,he further added that not only we should have a zero tolerance towards un cleanliness but we should be the role models for others in this regard.

VIGILANCE AWARENESS WEEK The vigilance awareness week was celebrated from 30th October to 3rd November. During this week different programmes such as slogan shouting, speeches, short skits, songs etc. were conducted in the morning assembly in order to make the students aware about ill effects of corruption. The Integrity pledge was also taken by the students and the staff.

NATIONAL UNITY DAY On the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel, the first Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister of our country, the National Unity Day was celebrated in our school with great fervor and gaiety. Various programmes were conducted on this occasion to make the children aware and inspired from his life and to be good and productive members of the society. Oath on the preservation of Integrity and Freedom of our country was also taken by the students and the staff.

CHILDRENS’ DAY

It was conducted on 14th November 2017 in which different programmes were staged by the children. Children were being acquainted about the life and contributions of first Prime Minister of our country Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru. On this occasion Principal Shri R.K.Sawhney said that Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru had a great love for Mother Nature, so children should love nature in order to protect our environment.

COMMUNAL HARMONY WEEK Communal harmony week was celebrated from 19th November to 25th November 2017 in which students presented short play, songs, speeches, etc. based on the National Integration theme.

CONSTITUTUION DAY Constitution Day also known as Samvidhan Divas was celebrated on 26th November to commemorate the adoption of constitution of our country. Different programmes were conduct on this day to impart students’ knowledge about our constitution.

MORNING ASSEMBLY To bring out innate talent in every child, a chance to step forward is given through

morning assembly programs which saw a shift from routine to novel in the form of books reviews, debate,

storytelling, etc. The Yoga is being practiced on day to day basis. The practice is being

taken by PET & all the teachers. Mass PT is also being conducted on every Saturday.

PRE PREP & PREP ACTIVITIES –

The tiny tots of the school, the students of Pre Prep & Prep are introduced to the varied culture and tradition through celebration of festivals like Diwali,Id ,Janamastmi and Rakshabandhan. No bag day is also being observed for classes 1st & 2nd on every Saturday.

UNBLOSSOMED FLOWERS – (SEEP

& RTE) Under Talent Nurture Program, an innovative program launched by AEES, a total of 55 students are studying in quite well. 19 children were given admission in our school under Right to Education in class First. Care is being taken to bring them up and provide them with best education at par with other children. During current session fourteen children were admitted under RTE out of which four children are screened for SEEP.

PARENT TEACHER MEETING

Two parent teachers meeting were conducted in the current session.On 26th August, 2017 and 10th Oct 2017, for both secondary and primary sections. One more PTM will be conducted in the month of February 2018. However, parents are meeting the teachers and Principal on day to day basis as well.

EXCURSION Excursion is a very important activity for teaching – learning process .The Excursion was arranged for all the classes in this session.Class IX went to Sawariya Seth temple ,Chittorgarh on 9th Dec 2017.

Class V to VIII went to Bhaishroad Garh.

MOVEMENTS Mr.Sunil Kumar,TGT, Mrs. Suman Acharya,TGT, Mrs. Jeevanthi Xalco , TGT, Mr. M.L.Munde, TGT, Mr. Sunil Kumar Yadav, TGT, Mr. Pawan Kumar, PRT, Smt. Yashoda Kucheria, PRT joined AECS-2 Family in the current session where as Sh. P.Narasimman,Vice Principal, Mrs. Manisha Tiwari,TGT, Mr. K.M. Tripathi, TGT, Miss Netrica Mandar, TGT, Miss Sonia AP, TGT, Mr. R.N. Upadhyay, TGT, Mr. Deepak Kumar,TGT, Mrs. Maya Chand,PRT, Mrs. Sarita Yadav, PRT, Mrs. Anora Xess, PRT, have been transferred.Miss Dipti Srivastava, TGT, being promoted as PGT Chemistry, joined AECS Kakrapar.

LIBRARY WEEK “Reading makes a complete man.”To instill the habit of extensive reading, a large number of books are purchased every year. Presently 15298 books are available in our library along with 42 periodicals and 7 newspapers. Library Books were exhibited during the library week celebrated from 14th November to 21st November for the students and the staff.

SPORTS “A healthy mind lives in a healthy body” is a well known adage. So is the saying, “All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy”.Proverbs and sayings reveal the practical wisdom and long experience of the world. They are like golden coins whose currency is forever. Without games and sports our youngsters would develop into cowards, lethargic weaklings and imbeciles.

Different activities were conducted throughout the year to keep students fit and healthy. Our school’s Ambika Singh of class 8th got selected for the under 14 state level table tennis tournament held at Hanuman garh from 17th Sep. to 22nd Sep.2017. Our under 14 boys badminton team participated in CBSE cluster held at Chomu ( Jaipur) from 11th Sep. to 15th Sep.2017.

SOCIAL AWARENESS

The commitment of this institution to society is evident through the charity, support and comfort extended by the staff and students to the poor, sick and needy. A cheque of Rs 7540/- was sent to the National Foundation

for Communal Harmony, New Delhi.

Co curricular activities are an integral part of
