An OPEN box will appear. Select the desired file you wish to open and click on OPEN.

The document will load similar to the example shown above.

To create a PDF go to FILE -> PRINT

The print box will appear as shown above. Pull down the NAME menu and select “Solid PDF Creator”

Page 7: From the START menu choose Microsoft Word. Once Microsoft Word opens choose FILE -> OPEN.

Click the OK button to print to PDF

The Solid PDF Creator logo will appear for a few seconds while the program is initializing.

The Create PDF box will appear. Navigate to “My Documents” if you are not already there.

Double click on “pdf upload” as shown above.

Navigate to the folder that corresponds with the document you are printing to PDF. In this example we are printing minutes for the board of supervisors. We double click on “minutes”.

For this example double click on board_of_supervisors.

Page 13: From the START menu choose Microsoft Word. Once Microsoft Word opens choose FILE -> OPEN.

The PDF files that already exist appear similar to the example above.

In the “File name:” box type the name as YEARMODA (ie: 20091005). It is necessary to name the files in this format in order for the documents to appear in order on the web site.

Click the “Create” button towards the bottom right of the Create PDF box.

The Solid PDF Creator box appears as shown above. Click OK to create PDF with default settings. It is not necessary to define a title, subjects, author, keyword, etc.

The document that was just created opens in Adobe Reader for your review. Just click the X in the upper right hand corner to close Adobe Reader.

Click the X in the upper right hand corner to close Microsoft Word or open any additional documents you wish to print to PDF and follow the same procedure again.

Once you have printed to pdf for all the documents and close Microsoft Word you will return to the desktop. Double click on the WinSCP icon as shown in the example above.

The WinSCP Login box appears. Click the LOGIN button.

Once connected the interface will appear as shown above. The left represents the files on your computer. The right represents the files on the web site.

Click on COMMANDS -> SYNCHRONIZE as shown in the example above.

The synchronize box will appear as shown above. If all options appear as shown in the example above you may click the OK button.

The Comparing box will appear as shown above. This process may take a minute or two.

The Synchronization checklist box will appear. In this example we are only synchronizing 1 file. It will not be uncommon the be synchronizing several files at once. Click the OK button to confirm.

The Copying progress box will appear a several moments as shown above.

Once synchronization is complete you will be returned to the main interface.

Click the X in the upper right hand of the program to close. Then click OK to confirm closure of this application.

If you check the site you will find that the files have been all updated
