2011-2012Lecture
Series
Presents the
www.fselc.org
The Friends of Straub Environmental Learning Center (FSELC) is a non-profit organization inspired by former Oregon Governor Bob Straub and his wife Pat, and their dedication to the preservation and appreciation of Oregon’s natural environment. Formed in 2002, FSELC strives to provide quality educational programs and information on a variety of environmental and sustainability topics to residents of all ages in the Mid-Willamette Valley. The Annual Straub Environmental Lecture Series, one of our cornerstone programs, brings noted scientists, authors, government officials, entrepreneurs, photographers, and advocates to the Salem Public Library to raise our community’s understanding of timely environmental issues, and to engage the community in seeking solutions. Thanks to the support of our generous donors and sponsors, all lectures in the Series are free and open to the public. We hope you’ll join us!
