• Direction of plays started in the College career. The 1st play was Directed in the

Bhadrak College, YAA PARE KAAN, 1970, MUN SAITAN KAHUCHHI, RAMA DAS

TAME HARIGAL & BAIRAGIRA SANSAR-1971, MULIA & BHARASA, 1972 (Bhadrak)

• After Coming to Bhubaneswar in 1973, the Direction of plays was not limited to Satabdira

Kalakar only, it was extended to throughout Odisha like different theatre groups and

Govt. Departments of Odisha.

• Till date 147 plays (Musical Opera, Folk plays, Experimental plays, Traditional plays,

Classics, Absurd plays etc.) have been covered under my direction.

• The only Oriya Director who had been selected out of hundreds, by National Sangeet Natak

Academy, New Delhi to direct a play "APARADH" written by Mr. Gourahari Das, being

selected in the young play wrights workshop, organized by National Sangeet Natak
