Thursday, September 17, 5:30 pm
Join us at 5:30 pm to transplant tall plants on the edge of the garden to
the center and to add more butterfly friendly plants. If you have plants
in your garden that you can divide and donate to the garden it would be
great!! Some plants that offer nectar are: purple coneflower, Beebalm,
Milkweed, Ironweed, Butterfly Bush, New England Aster, False Nettle.
We will have to be careful to plant the less invasive plants in the garden.
The Tiger Lillies that were planted almost took over the whole area.
Bake Sale at Fire Station Open House
Saturday 10, 2015 from 10 am to 3 pm
Volunteers are needed to bake goodies and also to help at the sale.
Please support the Bake Sale. Your contributions help us continue
our service in the community. A sign-up sheet will be available at
the September meeting.
Club Program Booklet
The 2015-16 Garden Club
Program/Address Book is
completed. I have put every-
one’s name on a booklet so I
know who has picked theirs
up. Some members did not
receive one last year. That
should not happen this year.
This year, for those who have
internet access, I am also
sending an electronic version
of the booklet.
