Cooling beds offered are made available in manualoperations from 60mtr up to 84mtr. Here, ourexpertise also lies in making these available as percustomer requirements of size. With billets re-heated to a temperature of 1200ᵒC in re-heatingfurnace, these are then rolled to defined sectionsof finished material in Rolling Mill Unit. Fromfinishing stand, these re-bars are made to gothrough precision designed pipes where waterquenching is performed under controlledconditions. This helps in decreasing the surfacetemperature of hot re-bars to around 400ᵒC. Theextensive as well as uniform cooling provided atcooling bed helps in getting temperature equalizedat round 600ᵒC.


Automatic Rack Type Colling Bed provide uniformair-cooling to the bars & profiles and transportthese in phased manner from entry to dischargeside. Made available in precision designed andengineered finish, these efficiently handle therequirements from smallest to maximum bar sizesthat need to be rolled.

Further, these also assist in providing desiredadjust ability in terms of size, shape as well as alloyof profiles. The cooling beds also provide formaintaining appropriate cooling rates that ensureminimized distortion as well as help in achievinghigh quality profiles.

We had successfully commissioned 66mtr longautomatic rack type cooling bed at SAIL plant atHimachal Pradesh, in North India.


TMT Bar Rolling Plant & Machinery is installed inengineering and construction industries. Installedwith cutting, cooling, rolling and handlingequipments, the mill plant is used to manufacturemetal wires and rods. Flat rolling is the most basic form of rolling withthe starting and ending material having arectangular cross-section. The material is fed inbetween two rollers, called working rolls, thatrotate in opposite directions. The gap between thetwo rolls is less than the thickness of the startingmaterial, which causes it to deform. The decreasein material thickness causes the material toelongate. The friction at the interface between thematerial and the rolls causes the material to bepushed through. The amount of deformationpossible in a single pass is limited by the frictionbetween the rolls; if the change in thickness is toogreat the rolls just slip over the material and donot draw it in.
