Annotated Bibliography
10% Final Grade Choose a subject related to your major, it could be a fashion designer if you are in Fashion Design or a video game if you are in Game Art & Design. Then research information about the subject using resources from the library and complete the following: • Write a two to three sentence introduction to your subject and
why you chose it• Create an annotated bibliography of at least 5 sources (use at
least 2 different types of sources – i.e. books, magazines, newspapers, trade journals, web site, film, etc.)– An annotated bibliography is a list of citations to books, articles,
and documents. Each citation should be followed by two or three sentences about the resource (see sample below)
• Citations should follow MLA format (see Rules for Writers) Sample Annotated Bibliography: Smith, John. “Picasso, a Man and His Works.” Atlantic Monthly. Jan. 1,
2008. pp. 209-211. This is a magazine article covering the works of Picasso. There are
numerous illustrations that demonstrate the artist’s talents, in particular his early life experiences.
