To approve order authorizing and directing the County Auditor's Office toreallocate/transfer described CDBG funds from various City of Lancaster projectsto be used for the existing Lancaster Wintergreen Sanitary Sewer Project.

To approve order approving FY 2001-2002 CDBG and HOME Program Projectsand administrative budgets, to be effective October 1, 2001, and authorizing theCounty Judge to sign any related documents.

To approve order adopting the "Dallas County Code" published by Municipal CodeCorporation, consisting of Chapters 1 through 114, which codifies Court Ordersof a permanent nature for the period from January 1, 1979 to July 31, 2000.

22. COURT ORDER:

To approve order appointing listed persons to the 2001 Local Law EnforcementBlock Grant (LLEBG) advisory board, setting a public hearing to be held on August7,2001 to accept citizen comment concerning the use of 2001 LLEBG funds, andauthorizing the County Judge to sign all related documents.

23. COURT ORDER:

To approve order approving refunds to taxpayers, as listed, in amounts over$500.00 for erroneous or excessive tax payments.

24. COURT ORDER:

To approve order accepting a donation in the amount of $80,000 from TXUElectric and Gas to the Dallas County Department of Health and Human Servicesfor summer heat assistance, and authorizing the County Judge to sign thecontract on behalf of Dallas County.

25. COURT ORDER:

To approve order approving an agreement with Dallas Metro Care Services andDallas County Health and Human Services for the provision of Tuberculosis (TB)screening for the employees of Dallas Metro Care Services for the period fromJuly 18, 2001 to July 18, 2002, and authorizing the County Judge to sign saidagreement on behalf of Dallas County.

26. COURT ORDER:

To approve order approving subcontracts with The University of TexasSouthwestern Medical Center at Dallas in an amount not to exceed $115,528,Rhea Sumpter in an amount not to exceed $1,025, and the University ofCincinnati in an amount not to exceed $2,500 to provide supplemental training,model clinics, and continuing medical and nursing education certifications in theSTD/HIV Prevention Training Center Program for the period from April 1, 2001through March 31, 2002, and authorizing the County Judge to sign saidagreements on behalf of Dallas County.

27. COURT ORDER:

To approve order approving the request of the Youth Services Advisory Board(YSAB) and the Dallas County Juvenile Department to award Juror Fund non­residential services contracts to Dallas Urban League, Inc. and West DallasCommunity Centers, Inc., and authorizing the County Judge to sign said contractdocuments on behalf of Dallas County.

28. COURT ORDER:

To approve order authorizing the cancellation of Areas 1 & 10 of Bid No. 2001­018-697 (Annual Contract for Landscape Maintenance) as awarded to EagleIrrigation Services, disallowing said company from bidding on future countysolicitations for a period of thirteen (13) months (7117/01 - 8/16/02), andreawarding said areas to TruGreen Landcare for the period from July 17, 2001through November 20, 2001 at an estimated annual cost of $36,330.00.

29. COURT ORDER:

To approve order authorizing the cancellation/termination of current contract (BidNo. 2001-066-782 - Annual Contract for Random Drug and Alcohol TestingServices) with PharmChem, Inc., due to non-performance and non-compliance ofcontract terms and conditions, disallowing said company from bidding on futurecounty solicitations for a period of thirteen (1 3) months (7/17/01 - 8/16/02), andauthorizing the County Judge to draw lots, due to a tie bid, between MedAlertIndustrial Health and US Healthworks (formerly HealthSouth Medical Clinic) todetermine the next awarded vendor of said bid.

30. COURT ORDER:

To approve order reawarding Bid No. 2001-066-782 (Annual Contract forRandom Drug and Alcohol Testing Services) to a vendor to be determined byCommissioners Court due to a tie bid, at a cost of $59,375.00, effective July 17,2001 through March 20, 2002.

31. COURT ORDER:

To approve order authorizing final payment in an amount not to exceed$4,714.00 to Triple R General Contractors, Inc. for the Dallas County FireEquipment Building project, Bid No. 2000-069-325, and acceptance of thecontract as complete.

To approve order authorizing Commissioner of District No.2 to cooperate withthe City of Garland in improvements to North Garland Avenue, from S.H. 190 toRichardson City Limits, for a total estimated project cost of $94,948.15, andauthorizing the County Judge to execute the Interlocal Agreement for this Type"B" road work.

To approve order authorizing Commissioner of District No.2 to cooperate withthe City of Garland in improvements to Bobtown Road, from Lyons Road to ZionRoad, for a total estimated project cost of $42,015.75, and authorizing theCounty Judge to execute the Interlocal Agreement for this Type "B" road work.

35. COURT ORDER:

To approve order authorizing Commissioner of District No.2 to cooperate withthe City of Garland in improvements to Bobtown Road, from Zion Road to KelsoLane, for a total estimated project cost of $16,655.81, and authorizing theCounty Judge to execute the Interlocal Agreement for this Type "E" road work.

36. COURT ORDER:

To approve order authorizing Commissioner of District No.2 to cooperate withthe City of Garland in improvements to Zion Road, from I.H. 30 to Bobtown Road,for a total estimated project cost of $32,780.10, and authorizing the CountyJudge to execute the Interlocal Agreement for this Type "B" road work.
