ROLE AND STATUS OF WOMENIN PAKISTAN SOCIETY

Everyone has the right of life, liberty and security of theperson. Men and women of full age without anylimitation due to race, nationality or religion, have theright to marry or to have a family. They are entitledto equal right as to marriage and its dissolution.

Marriage shall be entered in to only with the free andfull consent of the attending spouses. The family isthe natural and fundamental group, unit of thesociety and is entitled to protection by society andstate.
