George Tomlinson News Dear Parents and Carers, We've had a very busy week here at GT! This week, Ms Carnac held an assembly for our Year 4 and 5 pupils to discuss the French trip! Information has been sent out to you regarding this. It is a wonderful trip and we pack a lot into the day. On Wednesday we enjoyed our Christmas Fair! The hall looked absolutely beautiful and I was so happy to see so many parents and children in attendance. Thank you to the PTFA committee and all the volunteers who helped on the stalls, set up and decorated the hall, ran the games and coordinated the whole team to make this happen. It was the best fair I have been to and I know how much work went into making it happen, so THANK YOU all! On Friday, we rehearsed our Y2-6 concert at the church and are really excited to share it with you all next week. At all of our performances we will not permit the use of phones to take images of the children. This is due to a number of our children not being allowed photos for legal child protection reasons. We will have created a photo display of all children permitted to have photographs taken, outside the shows for you to take a picture of. We will also put these pictures on our social media for you to use. Please support us in keeping our children safe and adhere to this rule. Also on Friday we watched the Shakespeare in Schools performance in our hall. We loved watching it and are very proud of all of the children who took part. A massive thankyou to Ms Carnac and Ms Wyer who put so much work into making this a great success! We've had lots of trips taking place this week including Year 6 visiting the Mandir in Neasden, Year 2 visiting the Museum of London and Year 4 visiting St John's Church. Jake and Jadie also took children out to a Badminton Festival! Thank you to our parent volunteers who joined us and for the staff for making the trips such memorable experiences. The staff have been extremely busy with assessment week, preparation for the Christmas activities and having observations. They are in need of a good rest after a fantastic term. Thank you to every single staff member who has made this term so successful; we have a brilliant team here and we appreciate you all. .
