Tournament Rules and Regulations
O The GDRS is to follow the Clean Racing Guidelines, in particular:O You must drive responsibly, in a way that will not ruin the enjoyment of
others.O Behind drivers are expected to anticipate that the ahead driver may
have longer braking distance and should compensate for that possibility.O The behind driver has the responsibility not to run into the ahead driver.
The ahead driver does not have to try to avoid you. O Malicious and/or inappropriate braking or slowing is strictly prohibited.O Any driver rejoining the track after a spin/crash/off must not contact any
on coming drivers as the on coming driver has the right of way.
*Breach of the above rules will result in the following lap to be labeled dirty during time attack; during circuit racing, if more than two offenses are made during the race the driver will be disqualified. If any breaches are performed purposely, the driver will be disqualified on the first offense.
Tournament Description
O The GDRS may only be raced with domestically manufactured German automobiles and will be raced on international, as well as domestic tracks.
O The GDRS is divided into ten separate events, with each event containing four races.
O Two races from each event are designated as time attack, while two are to be circuit races.
O Event classes range from C-425 to R2-875 varying from event to event.
O Rules and Regulations must be followed at all times.O The GDRS will only run with the attendance of the entire club. The
tournament may only be run without a club member if that member chooses to opt out.
O The GDRS includes the following manufacturers:O Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Mini, Bugatti, Gumpert, Audi, RUF, and
Volkswagen. O The GDRS will run once a week, usually before the enduro race
(normally Friday). The tournament may run on a different day if need be.
ScoringO Scoring will remain consistent between
time attack and circuit races. The following shows the points possible per race by placement.O 1st – 12 pointsO 2nd – 10 pointsO 3rd – 8 pointsO 4th – 6 pointsO 5th – 5 pointsO 6th – 4 pointsO DNF – 0 points
• One race from each event will be completed each time. After all ten are complete a winner will be declared. After all ten events are complete a champion will be declared.

Mercedes-Benz AMG event. O First and third race will be time attack while the second and fourth will be
circuit.

O Race 1:O Bernese Alps Festival Circuit
O Race 2: O Tsukaba Full Circuit
O Race 3:O Nurburgring Grand Prix Circuit
O Race 4:O Road Atlanta Full Circuit
Event 2
O Event Description:O BMW’s performance marque will demonstrate it’s power in this event.O First and third race will be time attack while the second and fourth will be
circuit.
O Restrictions:O Make must be BMW (M).O B-500.O Only drivetrain and aspiration swaps allowed.
O Race 1:O Mugello Club Circuit
O Race 2: O Camino Viejo de Monsterrat Full Circuit
O Race 3:O Indianapolis Grand Prix Circuit
O Race 4:O Hockenheimring National Circuit
Event 3
O Event Description:O Germany’s sportiest sedans will take to the track to prove which is best.O First and second will be time attack while third and fourth will be circuit.
O Restrictions:O Make must be Audi, BMW, or Mercedes-Benz.O A-600.O All swaps allowed.
O Race 1:O Hockenheimring Full Circuit

O Race 3:O Maple Valley Full Circuit

Event 4
O Event Description:O Germany’s popular hatchbacks compete for first in this challenge.O First and third race will be time attack while the second and fourth will be
circuit.
O Restrictions:O Make must be Audi, Mini, or Volkswagen.O Body style must be hatchback.O C-425.O All swaps allowed.
O Race 1:O Sebring Short Circuit
O Race 2: O Silverstone International Circuit
O Race 3:O Top Gear Full Circuit
O Race 4:O Suzuka East Circuit

O Event Description:O The popular VW hatch takes to the streets for this event.O First and third race will be time attack while the second and fourth will be
circuit.
O Restrictions:O Make and model must be Volkswagen Golf/Rabbit.O C-425.O All swaps allowed.

Event 6
O Event Description:O World famous Audi Quattro RS models go up against the Mercedes-Benz
AMG division.O First and third race will be time attack while the second and fourth will be
circuit.
O Restrictions:O Make must be Mercedes-Benz (AMG) or Audi (RS model’s only).O A-600.O All swaps allowed.
