Indoor/Arena Soccer
You’re supposed tokick the ball, right?
“Indoor” but played indoors and out in an area
http://flickr.com/photos/djwudi/138741423/
๏ “Arena” style means boards along the edges to keep the ball in play (and allow for passing)
๏ Players sub out regularly “on the fly”
๏ The goals are set into the walls so you can use the walls to set up shots
๏ High scoring, 6-8 points is not unusual
๏ Startup cost is shin guards and some socks, $30 at a sporting goods store
๏ Cost: $45 - $65 per “season” (6-8 weeks)
๏ It’s a team sport, that means you’ll get to meet other people
๏ Many of them will be of the opposite sex
๏ Leagues divided by skill level, some places have dedicated beginner leagues
๏ Also men only / women’s only leagues
๏ If you can run and/or kick a ball, you can play soccer (yes, many can’t do both)

๏ Lots of local rinks with open ice time
๏ Co-ed leagues, although not as equally distributed as soccer
Unfortunately, not cheap๏ Startup cost is in the $200-$300 range
