Meetings and Listening Sessions

• What are your hopes, dreams, and aspirations for assessment at the MU Pharmacy Programs?

• How can we take our good culture of assessment to the next level?

• Is there any assessment we can stop doing or do differently? • How I can aid you and your unit? • What kind of scholarship can we achieve together?

Project MatrixTopic Project Target Current Status Next Steps

Assessment of Educational OutcomesEPAs • Review and finalize EPA crosswalk.

• Draft Spartan EPAs following first strategic plan workshop and seek faculty approval.

Nov 2019 EPA crosswalk was reviewed by committee; domain 7 and 7A were edited and the committee was in favor of moving forward.

Bring updated crosswalk and EPA 7A to faculty, possibly along with practice/team-readiness.

Co-Curriculum

• Conduct an updated gap analysis of CAPE 3 and 4 (and related EPAs) and bring to co-curriculum committee.

• Work with the co-curriculum committee to finalize the plan for assessment of CAPE 3 and 4 in the co-curriculum.

Jan 2020 Project plan developed; currently under review by TB and TD.

Modify project plan based on input from co-curriculum leadership.

Other Key Takeaways

Evaluate whether you are dealing with technical or adaptive problems, and adjust your style accordingly.

Unless everyone reports to you, as an assessment lead you may find yourself having to engage in more influencing and symbolism than you ever had.
