Define the Problem

In 2012 33 billion gift cards were produced in the world.

During that year only 9% of all the plastic in the U.S. was recycled.

This means the U.S. as a nation recycled less than 3 of every 33 gift cards the world produced.

Brainstorm Research and Generate We were assigned a gift card to repurpose for use as

a fashion accessory.

The gift card could not be turned into trash art

We had to come up with two products The product had to be a fashion accessory Must come up with primary and secondary

products Design packaging

Develop, Propose and Choose from Alternatives We chose our best few option of: necklace,

bracelet, and comb, and floss picks Narrowed down the options to either a comb

or floss picks Primary product we chose is the comb
