This Week: Singing (20-30 minutes)
Music - Singing
• Mrs Callaway and I thought that it might be fun to do some singing at home as we are really missing our singing assemblies at school – and we are sure that you are, too!
• I’ve put links to three great songs, which all include lyrics in the videos so you can sing along easily, on the next few pages.
• I’ve chosen these songs as they are uplifting, and they all make me feel happy when I sing them!
• Do have a sing at home, and encourage your family to join in as well!
Music – Singing: Live Lounge Allstars: ‘Times Like These’
• This song was originally written and performed by the band called ‘Foo Fighters’, but has been re-recorded in Lockdown by a multitude of stars, at home in their living rooms!
• Live Lounge Allstars - Times Like These (Lyric Video - BBC Radio 1 Stay Home Live Lounge)
• https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W_7p4TE6ixU • (Lyrics are on the video!)

Music – Singing: Pink: ‘A Million Dreams’
• This song was originally written for the film ‘The Greatest Showman’, which is a musical. It has been re-recorded by the singer Pink, who has a great voice!
• P!nk - A Million Dreams [from The Greatest Showman: Reimagined] [Full HD] lyrics
• https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L7TN0hyONjw • (Lyrics are on the video!)
2
Music – Singing: Anthem Lights: ‘Who I'm Meant To Be’
• This song is from an American band called Anthem Lights, and is all about wanting to be yourself and not worrying about other people’s dreams, but having your own.
• Who I'm Meant To Be - Lyric Video | Anthem Lights • https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UVb8OJEQGIQ • (Lyrics are on the video!)

This Week: Science: Healthy Eating
Comprehension
Science: Healthy Eating Comprehension
• You will find the ‘Giraffes Science Healthy Eating Comprehension’ in a separate PDF document underneath this ‘Other Subjects’ PowerPoint. (N.B. ‘confectionery’ = chocolates and sweets.)
• The text, questions, and answers (for your parents to use to check your work after you have finished), are all on the document.
• You may print out the relevant pages, or you can read them on the screen, and write the answers into your book.
• Please write your answers in full sentences, with correct punctuation. – Easy: You will need to read the text on Page 1, and complete the
questions on Page 2. Your answers are on Page 3. – Medium: You will need to read the text on Page 4, and complete
the questions on Page 5. Your answers are on Page 7. – Challenge: You will need to read the text on Page 4, and complete
the questions on Page 6. Your answers are on Page 7.
Science: Art Task! Healthy Eating Pyramid
• Draw the Healthy Eating Pyramid from the
comprehension (it is on a previous page on this
PowerPoint to help you).
• Pick 2 or 3 items to illustrate each food group.
• Make sure you draw the triangle accurately, and make
each row clear in size. (Link to Maths!) Use a ruler and
measure your lines. It is an equilateral triangle.
• Label it accurately, as they have done in the example.
• You might like to Google ‘healthy eating pyramid’ for
other examples, if you’d like to do a slightly different
one!
