WEEKLY SCHEDULES PRAYER REQUESTS

PRAISE IN PERSON WORSHIP: Last Sunday we had our first in person worship ser-

vice since March 15, 2020. Guidelines were used and we had around 140 people worshiping in the sanctuary and the wing. We have overflow that can be used in the Gathering Place as well. Masks & hand sanitizer are available at the entrances used. Everything went great! We praise God for the freedom to worship freely as we slowly open church up!

Church Family Conrad Van Maaren continues to be in skilled care at the VA Hospital in

Des Moines for another few weeks. He would love a phone call as there are no visitors allowed (not even family) and he is quite bored. His phone # is 641-521-4086. We pray for complete healing!

Caleb Johnson, age 11, son of Jennifer (Chuck and Deb Johnson’s grandson) underwent back surgery on Friday, May 29th at the Stead Family Children’s Hospital in Iowa City. He is being treated for scoliosis (curvature of the spine), and will have an underdeveloped vertebra re-moved, and two others joined together. Please pray for Caleb as he faces several weeks of recuperation. Also pray for the medical staff at the hospital.

Pray for our President, Leaders, Hospital staff, pastors, our sick and shut ins.

The AED Defibrillator is located in the church office on the 2nd shelf on east wall

BABY BLESSING BASKETS: Since March there have been 4 babies born here at FRC!! There are 4 baby blessing baskets set out in the Gathering Place for our newest little ones:

Zayleana Eloise, daughter of Shannon Dunsbergen & Edna Elliott—born March 23, 2020

Elias Paul, son of Brooke Jansen & Harrison Koenig—born April 15, 2020

Penelope Rae, daughter of Blake & Cathryn Dunsbergen—born April 19, 2020

Memphis Dean, son of Cole & Shelly Vos—born May 8, 2020.

ATTENTION: ALL 3 year old—4th graders CHURCH TO GO - Each family with children 3 years old – 4th grade will be receiving a CHURCH TO GO box filled with faith nurturing activities for the summer. The boxes, labeled with your family name, are located on a table just outside the church office. Please let Julie know if you would prefer your box dropped off at your home. As you capture a few rays of sun...remember to let the light of the SON shine in your hearts and lives this summer.
