Football
Glenbrook South opened the football season at Rolling Meadows on Friday, Aug. 24, losing 43-6.
“We had a lot of young guys out there and a lot of moving parts,” GBS head coach Dave Schoenwetter told the Glenview Lantern. “There were a couple of drives where we did a decent job. We’ll work on what we did on those plays and look at all
of the other ones and learn from them.”
The Titans face St. Patrick on the road Saturday, Sept 1, at 7 p.m., and open at home against Palatine on Friday, Sept. 7, at
7:30 p.m.
Girls Swimming & Diving
The Girls swim team opened up the season by taking fifth out of 13 teams at the Lake Forest Invite this weekend. They will
host Deerfield this Friday.
The Swimmers and Divers went "Beyond Sports" last week with a visit to Feed My Starving Children. The girls packed 124
boxes of food which is 74,400 portions of food going to those that desperately need it.
Way to go girls!
