ENABLE THE PROJECT EMPOWER THE RESIDENTSENGAGE THE PUBLIC YES! I/we would like to donate and become a member of the Atlanta BeltLine Partnership:

Public funding sources—the City of Atlanta, the tax allocation district, the US Department of Transportation and others—are not enough to complete the ambitious 22-mile Atlanta BeltLine loop of parks, trails and transit. ABP helps fill this gap by developing relationships and soliciting investment from the private sector and the philanthropic community. With this role comes a responsibility for stewardship of the funds we raise—donors want to be sure their contributions are utilized effectively, and some investors have specific mandates they want to see fulfilled. ABP provides that oversight and regularly communicates both progress and problem areas. Your support allows us to move forward more quickly and complete our goals in a more agile and timely manner. ABP’s fundraising efforts have resulted in bringing the Atlanta BeltLine project to life.

• Private funds include $10 million raised to match the TIGER V Grant to construct the Westside Trail, $5 million toward building the Eastside Trail, and $17 million to help construct the Historic 4th Ward Park, along with many other tangible projects the community can now enjoy

• Funding aids in the addition of key features such as trail lighting, ramps, benches, and more

• Targeted campaigns finance projects like the urban farm, new park development, and land acquisition

For many communities along the Atlanta BeltLine corridor, this project offers a path to a substantially improved quality of life. ABP is serving as a catalyst to spark meaningful, lasting change and better connecting residents to the opportunity and promise the Atlanta BeltLine can bring. Through place-based community building efforts, key partners convened by ABP focus on addressing longstanding challenges to strengthen all 45 neighborhoods along the Atlanta BeltLine corridor, with a focus on community and economic development.

• Securing permanently affordable housing through the Atlanta Land Trust Collaborative

• Supporting health & wellness initiatives

• Creating pipelines to stable careers for residents of Atlanta BeltLine neighborhoods

• Attracting private support to help ensure the Atlanta BeltLine benefits residents of all socio-economic levels

The Atlanta BeltLine is a long-term vision that will take years to complete. The project needs sustained public support throughout construction and implementation to ensure favorable political will and continued philanthropic investment. ABP cultivates goodwill and buy-in by first engaging the public in innovative, creative and impactful ways, and then working to convert those users into advocates and active supporters.

• Sharing the vision for the Atlanta BeltLine through tours on foot, bike, and bus

• Encouraging healthier lifestyles through free fitness classes and the Run.Walk.Go! Race Series

• Reaching out via our speakers’ bureau, special events, and information booths at local festivals

• Celebrating arts and culture through support of the city’s largest temporary public art exhibition, Art on the Atlanta BeltLine, and the annual Atlanta BeltLine Lantern Parade.
