This proposal highlights the key activities, events, and successes of the past years and
briefly describes major new initiatives to be undertaken over the next years. S.G.S. Govt. P.G.
Autonomous College Sidhi (M.P.) is being a lead and nodal college of district Sidhi impart quality
education to the students belonging to Gen/Sc/St/Obc since its establishment in the year of
1960. The alumini of this college has been engaged in various fields are continuously
contributing for all round development of this college. The key activities start with the online
admission in Ist Year of under graduate (B.A./B.Sc./B.Com./B.C.A.) and Ist Sem. of post graduate
(M.A./M.Sc./M.Com./M.Sc.C.S.) classes.
Class rooms teaching starts with orientation of students towards making them familiar
with all the programme organized by the college for all round development of students,
including various students assistance. Throughout the semester/Year periods, our learned
faculties conduct classes with advanced teaching methodology so as to make the subject
matter attractive and easy during the semester/year period. Students also participate in the
extracurricular activities (like, sport, NCC/NSS/cultural/youth festivals etc.) and selected
students (of their respective field) also participate in higher labels that is at
district/division/state and national level as per calendar given by Dept. of Higher Education
M.P. Bhopal. Meanwhile mid internal evaluation (CCE) is also being conducted and finally
semester end/year and exam conducted and consequently evaluation and declaration of result
take place as per calendar. After declaration of results those students who did fairly good and
outstanding are being awarded with Principal Medal in the function organised by the college
administration.

Mission
This institution is fully committed to impart the highest ideals of higher education by
bringing innovation in learning methods adopting diversified curriculum. It aims to focus on
each student to develop a comprehensive and balanced education.
The institution under this proposal strives towards for inculcating ethical and moral
values in the students and also encourages them to make integrated personality by bringing
students careers on the top of the consideration. To make partnership with nationally reputed
institutes is also point of concern and to facilitate and create an academic atmosphere for
teaching staff.

To do continuous effort to keep up quality education as per demand. To impart effective class room
teaching and provide professional knowledge in such a way to achieve maximum placement of our
student into various fields.
This College is Govt. as well as lead college of district Sidhi affiliated with A.P.S. University Rewa
(M.P.). It has been recognized by U.G.C. under 2 (f) & 12 (B) and also awarded Autonomy under
the UGC scheme since 1994. Area of the campus carries 42.01 acres of land. This institution runs
streams of humanities, science, commerce and some professional courses. The thing that makes
different from many institutions is its demography as the districts is tribal dominated
population the same reflects to the students.
The College on account of its continuous efforts in the entire field, results into the following achievement over the past few years. 1. This college has been established in the year 1960. 2. Initially there were courses of under graduation only. 3. P.G. Courses were started since 70s. 4. Institution attained autonomy in the year 1994 since than running successfully. 5. NAAC accreditation conducted twice on 2010 and 2016 and college has been awarded "B" grade. 6. Many students scored best marks in U.G./P.G. programs and were awarded with Principal's Medal. 7. Some alumni are also employed in prestigious services in judiciary, administration and few alumni also did fairly good in the active politics. They are currently M.L.As and minister.

All the faculties in our college are having highest academic degree like M.Phil, Ph.D. and almost
every member of teaching faculty is also guiding research scholar in their respective subject
publishing their research paper continuously in the Journals of national and international repute
Science, Art and Commerce are the major disciplines in the college where B.Sc./M.Sc.,
B.A./M.A./ B.Com/M.Com UG/PG programs are being run fairly well.
Things apart extracurricular activities, NCC/NSS/Sport/Youth Festivals are also being conducted
regularly.
