Be a pointe of grace — God’s grace, to everyone you meet . . . June 14, 2020
“I will call on the name of the Lord …” Psalm 116:13
This Wednesday, June 17th at 6:15pm, the movie “Just Mercy” will be shown via Zoom (link is on the church’s website). After the movie there will be time for discussion. Please join us. This is a powerful story and current to what we are experiencing today in our culture.
Pointe of Grace just received a $6,000.00 grant from the NWWA
Synod for Packs for Kids. We will now be able to expand this
meaningful and much needed program.
A BIG Thank You to all who sent in cards and gifts to our recent Confirmands and Graduates.
Please continue to pray for our young people as they continue along
their life’s journey.
This Sunday we welcome into the Body of Christ through the waters of
baptism, Logan Benjamin Allen. Please join us for the live streaming of
worship from the sanctuary this Sunday at 9:30 am on the church
Facebook page or the church website. There’s a part for everyone to
respond and welcome him into this beautiful community. See you there!
Let’s BINGO!!
Attached is a BINGO sheet for everyone to play during these isolation days. There will be prizes for elementary students, Youth, and Adults upon a complete “black out Bingo.”
Pictures to show each of the checked off boxes is even better! Let’s continue to share and show each other’s faces to each other.
Pointe of Grace Book Club Returns!! Join us for the monthly book club on Monday, June 15 at 11am—12:30pm

Please Continue to Give
During this time, the building may be closed and we may be meeting and serving remotely, but we still have expenses that need to be met. Please consider online giving during these times through our website button at the bottom of each page labeled "Give" or the Tithe.ly app found in the app store. You can also mail in your gifts as well. Thank you for continued generosity!
Worship Leaders Needed! Pastor Pam is gathering recorded videos of members reading, sharing the peace, dismissal and much more!
If you want to help be a part of this cool new way for everyone to
help lead worship online, please sign up online at the SignUPGenius (link is on the website).
It’s a fun and creative way for whole families to
participate too! Pastor Pam can help set you up for recording—so don’t let that
stop you! Several sign ups needed EVERY Sunday!
Don’t be shy!- we all want to see your faces!!
MISSING CONNECTION? Pastor Pam is grateful for the Care and Prayer Team over these months of quarantine in doing regular check in’s with you all. If you would like a front lawn/porch visit with the pastor, please let us know. Pastor Pam is willing to come to you if you’re uncomfortable coming into the building. She’ll be wearing a mask and smile! Email the church at [email protected] with days and times that are best for you. Prayer in person is always the best.
We are seeking a Cleaning Crew!
Before we can open the building, a rotating cleaning crew needs to be
established. If you are interested, please contact Kevin
Nollette at [email protected] or the church office for more details and
information as it becomes available. Thank you!
Summer Hymn Requests
If you have a favorite hymn or
song you’d like to hear, please
email the office and let us know.
The musicians will attempt to fit
them in this summer!

Dear Friends at Pointe of Grace, Many of you know that I have been working towards becoming a Rostered Minister for these past 2 years. It is with great joy and celebration that I share with you my news. I have been approved for Rostered Ministry! I do not know
what will happen next, but I trust that God and Bishop Shelley have something grand planned! My plan moving forward is to wrap up my internship both at Josephine Caring Community and Burlington Lutheran Church towards the end of July then await Administrative placement from the Synod Office.
I give God thanks for each and everyone of you! May God continue to give you peace and grace, Kristi Lambing
Looking Ahead: The Education Learning Team will be meeting to discuss topics, forums, books and possible presenters for the upcoming year. What things would you like us to look at for Syunday or mid-week education opportunities? What things are you interested in? What books/topics do you have in mind? How can we engage the larger Mukilteo community (either in-person or online) next year? Are you interested in leading a book study/Bible study/or topic of interest? Please email Pastor Pam ([email protected]) to let us know. We are excited to see where the Spirit swirls and guides us in the coming year!
A Special Call from Packs for Kids & Goods of Grace: We need cans of condensed soup, hearty soup, canned chili, canned fruit, and peanut butter.
Please buy a case every time and any time you go to Costco or the grocery store. Donations can be dropped off at the church entry on Tuesdays 10am-2pm or Thursdays 10:30am-2pm.

Let’s Talk Emotions… It’s been a lot...let’s be honest with each other: Lots of changes...and all hap-pening really quickly. Talking about our emotions is important. But sometimes it’s really hard to put into words what we are feeling—especially for children and teens. Trying to pull a word out of thin air to explain how we are feeling is hard. Attached to this newsletter you will find a “Soul Words List” to help. I per-sonally have this list attached to my fridge. Anyone in the house at anytime, can walk by and check what they are feeling….and maybe even share it with others around them. It’s good to talk about our emotions...it’s important to talk about our emotions! Be honest with yourselves and with each other. Don’t bottle it
up. Let’s stay healthy physically AND emotionally during these times.
As people of Grace, made one in the waters of baptism, we are strengthened by diversity. We are a community that welcomes people of every ability, age, citizenship status,
ethnicity, gender identity and expression, language, life circumstance, marital status, political perspective,
race, sexual orientation, and creed. Whether you are a believer, doubter, or seeker, or something in between, you are welcomed and valued here. We celebrate God’s unconditional love and respond
joyfully to all of God’s diverse people present here.
