Buddy Testimonial We will be highlighting on a regular basis a Buddy & a Graduate by giving them the opportunity to tell us a bit more about themselves, their background and their motivation!

Find out Christopher Ratajczak’s testimonial (Stefan Brun’s Buddy from UK / GLFI) the first one to get interviewed!

“Hi Christoffer, could you please tell us a little bit about yourself and your background?

My name is Christoffer and I joined SG in 2008 as participant in the previous SG CIB Graduate Programme (called GIP, and which had a European scope).

After graduating from Uppsala University in Sweden (where I took my masters in Management of International Business and Polish language), I worked one year as a

Financial Consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Stockholm (Sweden). Within SG CIB, I have worked in the "Global Finance" division: in Project Infrastructure

and Syndication in Paris and then in the LBO syndication team based in London, which is my current team.

Why did you become a Buddy?

I decided to volunteer as a Buddy for this edition of GP to share my experiences as a newcomer to the bank and be a helping hand for Stefan Brun who is to join our team

this summer.

What tip would you give to new Graduates? I would strongly recommend you not to be afraid of asking all kind of questions

concerning your work when joining the team. Show enthusiasm and devotion from the very beginning – first impression lasts for long!”
