Tuesday Morning Bible Study this Tuesday. We are studying Women of the New Testament. This week our focus will be on “a sinful woman” from Luke 7. Won’t you join us? XTREME LEADERS NEED YOUR HELP! We are looking to our next meeting and are a little short on leaders. Gary will be the only leader available for our next meeting this Wednesday, February 7th. The plan is to play broom ball in McBain at the ice hockey ring from 7:00-8:15 pm. We will need parents to provide transportation for their kids to get them to and from the ice hockey rink; if you would be willing to come out and play hockey that would be great too!! Please have your kids dress warmly for the night, and if you could let Gary know if you are available to help, (231) 878-1226, that would be amazing! Thank you. We are in the process of updating our church directory. If you would like any changes or additions made to your information in the directory, kindly contact Bonnie Fox in the office by phone, email, text, or written word, so she can complete those changes. She would greatly appreciate having them by February 12th. Thank you. What comes to your mind when you hear, “Kingdom of God”? How would you describe “God’s Kingdom”? Join us from 5:00-6:30 tonight, Sunday February 4th for fellowship, supper, to share your ideas, and to hear what others have to say on this subject. For our next Family Night Dinner (this Wednesday) we will be serving breakfast for dinner, including homemade baked French toast, scrambled eggs and sausage links. Bring your family and come for dinner! I’m also looking for people to help assemble the French toast on Tuesday evening in the church kitchen. Please contact Bev Taylor (231) 429-6397 if you would be willing to help. The First Presbyterian Church of Lake City presents Music and a Meal Sunday, February 11th beginning at 4:00. “The Brass Rail” will be the playing hymns, show tunes and classical jazz. A love offering will be taken to offset costs. Please join us.

Northland Community Church Wild Game Dinner will be February 24th at 5:30 pm. The guest speaker will be Mark Romanack, the host of the 411 television show. The cost is $10.00. There will be door prizes. Please call (231) 878-0535 for tickets. Save the Date! The Annual Wild Beast Feast at Lucas CRC will be on Saturday, February 24th with appetizers served at 5:30 and dinner and dessert to follow at 6:00 pm. Guest speaker Tim Roller with Whitetail Journey will be in attendance and we will savor some prime choices of “Wild Meat” from crappie, pheasant, venison, rabbit and pike. Tickets are $10.00 at the door and there will be door prizes. You may purchase a $5.00 raffle ticket to be entered to win a chance to win three prizes, the grand prize a rifle. The raffle ticket proceeds will go to the Lucas CRC Diaper Pantry. Contact Ken Nederhood (231) 645-9126 or Joey Roberts (231) 577-8250 for more information or to donate wild game. Thank you. Volunteers are needed for a one day event. “Mock It, Then Rock It!” will help prepare 400+ high school juniors and seniors to enter the work force by giving them a chance to practice their interview and resume-writing skills. We need volunteers to interview students and critique resumes. Materials will be provided (interview questions and review forms). Please click on the following link to sign up for a volunteer shift: http://goo.gl/forms/ryAh3BWfrnj49rB42 or call Sara Keinath at (231) 779-9480. This event is sponsored by Wexford and Missaukee MSU Extension’s 4-H Programs and will be held at Baker College on February 23rd, from 7:45 am – 12:00 pm. Training and refreshments are provided. Testament. You are cordially invited to come. Northern Michigan Christian is blessed to be surrounded by a generous and caring body of believers. At the beginning of the school year, we set a goal to raise $175,000 to provide educational scholarships for families in our community who desire a Christian education for their children. To date $103,500 has been raised. Would you prayerfully consider helping us reach our goal? Contact Jenny Closson at [email protected]. Thank you.
