In today’s era of cut-throat competition, one must have a special strategic approach, well guided by experts, to succeed. TWO YEAR CLASSROOM COURSE FOR IIT-JEE 2014

This programme is designed for students who appear

in Xth standard exam in 2012 and aspire to qualify the

IIT-JEE 2014 exam, along with their regular school/junior

college studies and other competitive exams like AIEEE,

CET and BITSAT.

The 2 years period, which is available to these students,

is pretty sufficient to prepare for IIT-JEE and other

competitive exams. The first few minutes talk of every

lecture is spent talking about the very basic concepts

which can be grasped easily by any student.

Thereafter, a few simple problems are discussed to

make students comfortable with a new topic. The basic

concept is delivered with such precision that students

solve AIEEE/MH-CET levels quite comfortably, boosting

their confidence.

Gradually we start twisting those simple problems and

let students do some mind gruelling. This is the most

important stage. The successful execution of this step

depends on the competent and experienced faculty.

After every class, students are given homework to

ensure optimum utilisation of their time. Surprise unit

tests keep them on their toes.

CoursesFrequent revision lectures and monthly mock tests give

the finishing touch.

Besides IIT-JEE, we want students to excel in their school and college exams too. Apart from regular IIT-JEE lectures we incorporate two extra lectures especially for school preparation and hence students need not join any other class for school syllabus preparation. CoursesOne Year Power CourseThis course is power-packed for the 11th passed/12th appearing students aspiring for IIT-JEE 2013/AIEEE/MH-CET. This course aims at enhancing the understanding of basic concepts. 7 classes per week by eminent faculty facilitate preparation for IIT-JEE, AIEEE, MH-CET, BITSAT, etc. in a condensed manner.

Rank Booster (Repeater) Course This course is designed especially for students, who wish to repeat IIT-JEE for securing a better rank or for other reasons. The course consists of 4 regular lectures per week to ensure better concept understanding, revision of syllabus with frequent full length mock tests to help the students achieve their target.

Crash Course A 100 hour contact programme for 12th students, aspiring for entrance into reputed engineering colleges, but lacking confidence and professional guidance. The course covering 18 lectures starting mid-March, covers the revision of entire syllabus by eminent faculty. 7 full length mock tests are conducted to help the students get a practice of the actual exams.

Foundation Course In today’s competitive environment, one has to compete for everything in life. Education is no exception. In order to secure admission in a reputed engineering college like IIT, a solid foundation of Maths, Science and Mental aptitude is required during 9th/10th classes. This course is specially designed to give an early start to ambitious students, who

aspire to stay ahead in this competition. Apart from various engineering entrance exams, this course helps the students to prepare for some more competitive exams like KVPY, Maths, Cyber & Science Olympiads and NDA, etc.

Eligibility and Admission Test A student should have scored more than 85 per cent in Maths and Science (Physics/Chemistry) in the final exams of the last class or qualify the aptitude test (conducted by Prime Academy) to get admission in the institute. Registration number and time/date of the aptitude test can be enquired from the office. This aptitude test is FREE.

FAQsQ. If a student joins Prime Academy’s IIT-JEE course, does he/she get prepared for AIEEE/MHT-CET and other competitive Engineering Entrance exams also?

Ans. IIT-JEE is the mother of all engineering entrance exams. Syllabus of IIT-JEE/AIEEE/CET/all Boards is almost the same. But the level and conceptual depth varies. If a student prepares for IIT-JEE then naturally he/she crosses AIEEE/CET levels. Roughly, if CET and AIEEE are calibrated at level 4 and 5 respectively then IIT-JEE is level 20. Now a person aiming at level 20 would certainly be very comfortable with level 4 or 5. At Prime, we start every new topic with the very basic concepts and make students solve simple problems which take care of CET/AIEEE, and then gradually the level of problems is raised to an IIT-JEE level. Before winding the topic, we make students solve problems which are even higher than the IIT-JEE level. It gives them an extra edge. Regular mock tests are conducted on IIT-JEE/AIEEE and MHT-CET exam patterns, to give them the required practice for respective exams. 10 months before the entrance exams, we segregate students and fine tune them for the exam that suits their level of preparedness and ambition.

Q. There are so many coaching institutes mushrooming up. What should a student look for while joining any coaching class?

Ans. The top most parameter for the selection of any coaching class is the quality of the faculty and their full availability. Many a times, the first few lectures are taken by a few good IITian faculties and once the fee is collected they are replaced by inexperienced non-IITian faculties. Since the fee has already been paid, students are left helpless

conducted to keep the students on their toes. The teaching experience of our faculty is unparalleled in Pune and they have developed expertise in their respective subjects over the years. Further, the teaching methodology is continuously updated in accordance with the requirement of the changing patterns of exams.

Q. Is a student required to put in extra hours at home in addition to the time spent at Prime Academy?

Ans. Prime Academy’s teaching methodology is such that it gives a comprehensive understanding and knowledge development of each topic. It removes the stress generally experienced by students when preparing for exams like IIT-JEE. However, in addition to classroom work, students will have to spend a few hours everyday to revise what they have learnt during class hours and also do the homework assignments given by the faculty.

Q. How shall we come to know about our ward’s attendance and performance?

Ans. Monthly Progress Reports are sent to parents and they are communicated telephonically about the absenteeism, if any. Parent-Teacher meetings are conducted regularly. Discussions are also done on a personal basis, to improve the performance of the students.

Q. Will the Academy prepare the student for School/Board exams?

When I was in 10th I never thought I could be an IITian. But luckily I got in contact with a genius called Lalit Sir. He made me realise my strengths and motivated me to crack IIT. Lalit Sir had been a wonderful teacher and a great motivator throughout the 2 years. He has a great ability to make students get involved in his subjects and to complete their DREAM. Jaswant Sir too is good. I strongly recommend Prime to every IIT-aspirant.

The best thing which I noticed in Lalit Sir’s teaching was, he pulls a concept from its roots and then uses his own shortcuts to link it with difficult concepts. He does it smartly in a relaxed atmosphere and we feel as if we have attended a fun session. I credit Lalit Sir and Jaswant Sir for my admission in IIT Kharagpur. Uncertain of what to do, I always approached Lalit Sir. I trusted him with his ways. Whenever I felt my confidence sliding, I would always go to Lalit Sir. After talking to him, I would feel rejuvenated and full of vigour to strive for the best. When Jaswant Sir started teaching us, suddenly Chemistry also became very interesting, just because of his unique and extremely good teaching techniques and deep knowledge inPhysics and Chemistry.
