Carona Group has been involved in the refrigeration and industrial door markets providing premium quality BARRIER & DOOR SYSTEMS FOR HYGIENE & ENERGY CONTROL for many years.

PRESSURE EQUALISING VALVES
PV 0101 SERIES
Carona Pressure Equalising valves have been designed in 4 sizes for ease of installation and to accommodate coolrooms from the very small to large cold storage projects. Now available to suit coolrooms or low temperature freezers.
Pressure variations occur during defrost cycles and when a quantity of warm air transfers through the door opening. Without the use of Pressure Equalising Valves the pressure build up will be very significant and can cause cracking of joints which in turn allow a build-up of frost and ice.

The formula to determine the air flow necessary to balance the difference between the internal and external
PRESSURE IS: Q = K x V x T
WHERE: Q = required air flow (lt/min)
K = 3.66 (constant)
V = cold room volume (m3)
T = maximum temperature variation in °C that happens inside the cold room in one minute.
The model selection of a valve will have to be done by verifying that the air flow obtained via the above formula is among the ones indicated in the table (suggested min and max temperature for each model).

CL900 is available in 3 concentrate levels, all with increased levels of anti bacterial agents to further assist any cleaning program.
