The family and friends of Noel Davis, who passed away last week. Visit-ation is tonight, 5-7PM at Greenlawn South, with the funeral here at Sun-set at 10AM tomorrow.
Good morning and welcome to Sunset! We are so grateful for your pres-ence and pray you are encouraged by the worship and fellowship that takes place today.
As you may have noticed, several of us are at the campout this morning (and are probably a little chillier than you are as well!) Even though we are in different locations today, I am encouraged that we are gathering around a common table and praising our God together! Please pray that we would be safe as we travel back home this afternoon.
It was such a blessing to see people express their desire to become part of the Sunset family last week! It seems like the Lord has blessed us with several new faces lately. At first service we welcomed Susan Ault, and at second service we welcomed Richard and Steffany Russell and their son Christian. If you see Susan or the Russells be sure to let them know how thankful we are for their presence!
I pray everyone has a blessed week!

Being a parent – it can be difficult to make time. Our time gets gobbled up with so much stuff. Taking care of the house, the yard, laundry, groceries, making supper, then cleaning the dishes. All these things are important and significant in provid-ing a loving home for our spouse and children. But then add on the responsibilities and demands from work, the needs of our children, family time, spouse time, time alone and on top of that, time with God. What about your favorite game? Your favorite sports team? Your favorite Netflix show? Your favorite phone app? Paul says, not everything is beneficial and he won’t be mastered by anything (1 Cor6:12). Do you feel the stuff that steals your time is “mastering” you? Are you’re missing out on what should be most reward-ing in life? If you’re struggling with the stress and anxiety of the daily grind what-ever that is for you, don’t get burned out. Try reprioritizing your time. List out what is most important to you. Take time to sit in quiet and pray about this. Allow the love of God to shape how you spend your time. Reconnect with the values of serving your family whether they fully appreciate it or not. Find the joy in serving them. There are only 168 precious hours every week – how are you going to spend it?
