• Some service users will be successful and shortlisted on regular
recruitment processes and be recruited through this path.
• For others (higher needs, not strong CV’s…) – Employment
engagement it’s a MUST.
Employers engagement: “employment Hunt”, “sharing experiences”, “Word of
mouth”…
• Knowledge of your employer environment (cities, rural areas, job profiles,
requirements, etc.)
• Prepare your “employer sales pitch”:
• Explain the values of your company, your goals, fact check, provide
successful cases, explain the benefits to employ people with
disabilities, explain the services you offer them, reassure them, etc.
• Your goal: to persuade and convince them to give your service users
an opportunity to join their company.

• Ex. Service user with “sales/ retail” profile ---- employers to approach: supermarket, retail shops, shopping
