In Fatal Frame™: Maiden of Black Water, you willexplore a variety of locations and use yourCamera Obscura to take photos of things thatcan't normally be seen. Use the Camera Obscuraby moving the Wii U™ GamePad controller like areal camera.

As you progress through the story, you'll exploreand investigate in Search Mode. When youencounter ghosts, you'll need to switch to PhotoMode and use your Camera Obscura to take theirpictures to repel their attacks or reveal secrets.

There is only one save file available. Game datawill save automatically at various checkpoints asyou progress through the story.

◆ Starting the game with New Game will cause anydata from cleared episodes or episodes in progressto be deleted.

◆ You can select Data Management from SystemSettings to delete any save data.

data will be written for the last checkpoint youpassed. When you select Load Game, you will beable to resume the game from this checkpoint. Ifyou choose not to use the save data, you will betaken to the episode-select screen. Any savedata for progress past that point will be deleted.
