Page | 1 Guidance for conducting PDOT _ Digital Literacy 1. The complete PDOT module consists of Country specific Orientation skill (40 hours) + Digital Literacy (40 Hours) + Language Skill – Arabic (80 Hours) = 160 Hours The three modules should be taught in 20 days A typical learning day should include 2 hours of country specific orientation skill + 2 hours of digital literacy skill + 4 hours of Language skill = 8 Hours / day (8hrs x 20 days = 160 Hours) 2. Trainer is expected to familiarize himself / herself with https://dsaksharta.in/ portal before commencing the classes to ensure smooth learning 3. It is good to ask your students to create Microsoft account before the commencement of batches to save time 4. For IISC program, only 2 courses i.e. Windows 8 and Office 2013 and Advanced Curriculum are included. Within these courses please follow the modules mentioned on page 5. These are mandatory modules 5. The content for advanced course is not made available as these are practical lessons. The candidate is expected to practice on his own under the guidance of his /her trainer 6. The trainer can teach beyond the course modules, after completing the mandatory courses 7. The bifurcation of hours (refer to page 5) to be used only as guidance. Trainer to use his / her discretion depending on the learning capacity of batch 8. Training Centre must conduct assessment of the candidates post the completion of Digital Literacy Module. This is a mandatory requirement for the release of payment. A separate assessment module is included on the same portal (https://dsaksharta.in/) which the students are expected to take. A certificate is also generated after the candidate has achieved the passing score

Guidance for conducting PDOT _ Digital Literacy

1. The complete PDOT module consists of Country specific Orientation skill

(40 hours) + Digital Literacy (40 Hours) + Language Skill – Arabic (80 Hours) = 160 Hours

The three modules should be taught in 20 days

Process flow Here is a step by step guide to access your digital literacy courses. Kindly follow the instructions carefully.

1. Visit website https://dsaksharta.in/

2. Click to sign in option

3. Sign in with your Microsoft account or create a new one if you don’t have a Microsoft account

1. After creating your Microsoft account, sign in to https://dsaksharta.in/ as

suggested in step 2

5. Click on courses modules to see 4 courses

6. The IISC Digital literacy module will focus on 2 courses - Windows 8 and Office 2013 and Advanced curriculum

7. Click on view details and then enroll for the course as shown in screenshot. Repeat the same for advanced curriculum

9. Assessment module

- After the completion of courses, click on assessment tab

- Click on add assessment

- Enroll for ‘Digital Literacy Certificate’ Assessment and take the assessment. Candidates with

passing score will also get a digitally generated certificate

8. Click on the dashboard to see your enrolled courses and click on launch.
