Gulf Standardization Organization (GSO) Background
Gulf Cooperative Countries High Council (GCCHC) has
established the Gulf Standardization Organization for
Gulf Cooperative Countries (GSO for the GCC) on 9th
November 1982.
It is the Gulf region standardisation organization for GCC
Countries (Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman). GSO
members are from all national standardisation organizations inthese countries.

1)General objectives
To guide Gulf Oil & Gas Industry Standardisation by effective
participation of Committees Members in this process on teamwork
basis to accomplish the following targets:
